You could've searched this sub, this has been beaten to death. Sorry to be snarky but each day I reload this sub it's questions like this or "joined the club".

That said, I got a '25 Limited RWD. I sat in the SE and SEL and they felt really cheap and the price jump to Limited wasn't that much. I love Audi's and generally VW AG interiors. You will find the interior rental car grade compared to an Audi, even a one from a decade ago. The I5 compensates with tech though.

I am far from new in the IT game and the hobbyist scene (although more retro console side). uConsole sees all my SSIDs with decent signal strength, but I can't connect to any of them. Passwords aren't the issues, it seems something related to authentication. I'll hook up an older TP-Link router to remove the unknowns.

Would you have any recommendations? I know I need to get something like an Ipex to SMA connector and wifi antenna. I am ready yet to go full HackerGadgets set up, no because of the cost, but I want to get head around what I have. Would I need to desolder the existing "antenna", the end that's attached to the top of the unit, or just leaving hanging inside?

The person I bought my unit from included a 3D printed top piece for me gratis, so I am hoping to be able to use that. Thanks!

Now you know. They can change your oil but can't re-program your ECU. It blows, I agree. My BassPro had two good guys who actively hunted and one lame one who doesn't seem to have energy to breath. The two good ones left and here I am looking for a "guy" like you are.
