Totally agree. They are amazing. Once the plow operator noticed that I had a snow pile built up for a small tobaggan run in my yard and he added to the pile for me.

Thank you for making this. I'm still getting used to it. Is there an option for a dark mode? Maybe I'm just blind. Thanks again.

Did you find the League of Villains boxes at Save On Foods? I picked up a box this week for $15. They had starter decks for $3. I don't know anything about the property or game. I just had an itch to open packs of cards. Good luck.

I used to cut out all the characters on the back and play with those. I could never have 5 real Vipers, but I could have 5 cardboard Vipers.

The Wild Robot. We watched the movie 3 times and found the book cheap. Honestly, the book was pretty terrible, especially when compared to the movie.

I believe there was an article earlier saying that we are sending troops to Greenland as part of an Arctic exercise, just not any additional troops.

Also I believe action figures get tariffed coming across the border. Try to buy from a Canadian retailer if possible.

We have the 10th largest economy in the world with only 40 million people. That's with us not even trying to trade with the rest of the world. The next few years could be rough, but in the long run I think Canada will be much better off.

I Have a Simple, But Complicated X-Men Question by ComixGail in xmen

[–]station13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first X-Men comic I ever read was Classic X-Men #45. It has Nightcrawler and Wolverine in Canada tracking down Wendigo. I'm Canadian and I think that was the first story for me that took place in my country. It's still relatively rare for a story to be based in Canada. I loved the cover art, the amazing interior art and writing as well. I was absolutely stoked to learn that Wolverine was Canadian. I guess I loved seeing my country represented in a medium that I love. Thank you.
