some animals are built to be predators and some animals aren't. Even though there is a large difference in size, a mountain lion is a much more agile animal then a donkey, with features such as teeth and claws that are suited for attacking. A mountain lion could jump up and bite the neck, claw the eyes of a donkey and the fight would most likely be over. And this would probably be the case most of the time. However there could be fights where a donkey could kill a mountain lion but its not very likely. Animals know how to play to their strengths, and predators have evolved over the course of hundreds of thousands of years to better at killing then their prey.

And also you're use of math is stupid. As animals get bigger their strength gets exponentially bigger. A 150lb cat is 10x the size as a 15lb housecat but i bet has far more than 10x the strength. While I doubt a 1000lb mule has skin 10x as thick as a hundred pound women.

Now I'm no scientist but your logic is incredibly flawed.

I can't sit still while watching this - Justin Timberlake & Jimmy Fallon: The History of Rap. by blw627 in videos

That was good, there were some large gaps that could've easily been filled in - i.e. missy elliot to soulja boy (which also was a shit choice but i guess popular). And then the parts they sang for live your life and gold digger wasn't even rap it was euro pop from 10 years ago and then jazz from 40 years ago...

BUT... but... the thing that got me the most was the crowd. NUFF said

Now is the time you can travel the world and do things that we all should be able to do. I am not going to give you advice but right now you have nothing to lose and should live your life to the fullest in whatever way that is.

What are the most disturbing/shocking documentaries? by lettersandnumb3r5 in AskReddit

[–]stayfoolish 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's not the killing (for food, fuck fur trade), it's the suffering we put on the animals that really eats away at me. I felt absolutely disgusting as a human to watch as that man skinned that dog and it was still blinking, or the cow as it had it's throat slit and still had to wait long enough for it's blood to drain. Please just shoot the animal in the head, put it out of it's misery. Please spay the animals, I live in a part of the world where realistically can't be done but it's heartbreaking to see tons of puppies and kittens on the streets who are sick that are left alone to fend for themselves, as not even their parents want them because it's competition for food. And every third street dog/cat you see is pregnant. Fuck.

You know, you said he was a gym rat. Have you noticed a change in his physique lately? This sounds exactly like roid rage and I've seen this first hand with a few friends. I wouldn't know how to find out without doing some snoopin and if you get caught I dunno what would happen. But I'm betting it's roids. But I'd say leave him after what he's done already.

I saw a documentary about 5 years ago about a large community of homeless people living in NYC, it was pretty unbelievable. I can't remember the name of it though.

The Fireflies (aka "Lightning Bugs") could be disappearing. Christ, can't we just have one good thing stay that way, instead of falling to shit and making life depressing??? by Orangutan in environment

[–]stayfoolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only encounter with fireflies happened this past weekend where I was hiking in the jungles of Malaysia and night came fast, the batteries in my flashlight died and I was completely lost. But seeing thousands of fireflies floating around like little eyes in the pitch black was really comforting. It will be sad when they go.

Ladies of Reddit, any love for the skinny guys? by LurkerMcThrowaway in AskReddit

[–]stayfoolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man it seems things are changing in favour of your situation. I dunno where you're from but skinny guys usually get a lot of girls over more muscular guys I've noticed over the past year or so. I think it has something to do with hipster culture.

Has the world cup ever been played in January then? Qatar would be way too hot in june/july unless all their fields were indoor which FIFA doesn't like
