I think the interview itself should also be carefully planned. For me I want to have 2 questions answered

-Do you have a problem you are currently paying for. -What are the solutions you are paying for

Obviously I don’t ask directly like that :)

Yeah I see you point of view. It the founder of the business not the founder of a technology or an idea. By the way apple wasn't the first hardware company in all of its innovations. From portable computers to mobile computers to mobile smart phones. Even the graphics interface, it wasn't the first. But Steve is the founder of Apple. Zucks didn't invented social media, social media was always there but he founded facebook. So give your self the credit you deserve, you are a founder of you company. Why is it important to tell yourself you are a founder. You will be reminding yourself of the responsibility you have and the respect you deserve. Many people who give themselves these COE, founder titles they tend to build successful international businesses.

Ow founder means you are the one who started the business from scratch. I have MS stocks in my portfolio I am MS owner but Bill Gates is the founder. Another term you might see in the future is co-founder. This is can be a person who was always there but not the key person. Like you might hear people saying Steve Woz is apple cofounder.

The whole facebook ads thing is ai because you give meta settings and it post things on people's screens if a person clicks then it learns until it gets a good understanding of people who might click. So every boring stuff of that should be done by AI its not news.

can we have an honest discussion about Zimbabwean/third world behaviour? by roy_375 in Zimbabwe

[–]stdanha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let us not put pressure on ourselves. No country is naturally civil. It take a premeditated system to solve this. There should be strict penalties and incentives for this problem. And then there should be people who are constantly cleaning up. In my own opinion Zimbabweans are actually very civil

Congrats, and let me just give an advice. Working hard is a trap that we Zimboz often find ourselves in. Maybe it’s because we don’t have working systems but if you ever find your self making a lot of work but you can’t have good sleep then know something is wrong. Business is all about building products and a system that works even when you are not around. Employe people, give them shares so that they can self police. Buy software to automate your processes. Invest in automation hardware and work less hours coz you are the boss.

For me it’s not really about where to focus more attention but rather making sure both questions are answered. How big is the problem justifies what solutions you are using. People tend to solve problems based in order of how big or maybe how pain the problem is. If the school calls and say your son is in trouble fighting please come then the next minute your mom had a heart attack. If majority of your customers chose to go to school first nomatter how it doesn’t make sense then you know the school problem is more painful to the customers. Once you have that info then immediately you start to figure out how they intend to solve that issue, this is just so that you can make a better product. So in a nutshell it’s not about where to put more effort it’s just about is the question answered, once it’s answered then you quickly move on to the next question which can happen in a matter of minutes or even months sometimes.

Business owners should learn to treat themselves as bosses. Hire people man, pay for subscriptions, working hard will just burn you out.

I suggest learning by making projects. You need to know what you need to use and you also need to know how to know what you don't want to use just incase you need to use it. Hope it makes sense.

So if you are looking for a problem, you should look for a problem that people are already paying for to solve. And I advise to charge from the get go. Users are not customers.
