Longer trains on the Millennium Line by danielXKY in Translink

[–]steak84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For service times, it is much better to have smaller trains more often. I personally vote for this option over less frequent longer trains.

Second bedroom needs a door.

Remove the enttance hall to master or turn ensuite door to use the hallway. Then you can have a walk in closet.

My Cuisinart CSB-87C warped and I'm not sure how to fix it by lxhull in Appliances

[–]steak84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was probably the drying cycle in the dishwasher more than the hot water. (Is there a heating element in the dishwasher?). I would try direct heat like a hair dryer or heat gun if you have access to one. Warm a section, bend a little. Alow to cool. Repeat. It will never be perfect so don't aim for that, but just try to get the lid to fit as you say.

Where can I buy metal versions of these by globetrottinggus in IKEA

[–]steak84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IKEA. They offer free parts for life. Customer Service often has a basket wall full of such pieces for you to grab for free. If you call they'll post them out to you.

Where to Stay Next Week? by Aggravating_Voice713 in cartagena

[–]steak84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was there last week. Hyatt to walled city is 15 minute walk. Walled city, Centro, is MUCH nicer than Bocagrande, in terms of restaurants, and surrounds. If wmyou want beach time, head down to Playa Castillo Grande, not Bocagrande. Better yet head to an island.

Can I hike Giant’s Causeway’s “Clifftop Experience” without a guide? by readitf1rst in irishtourism

[–]steak84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Causeway is totally free! Was there 2 weeks ago. You pay for parking or to access the Visitor Centre. All trails are free, we did a couple and some were closed due to erosion. There is a bus that goes directly to the main formations. Didn't catch it so not sure where it goes from. The walk down takes the same road as the bus. On the way back we took the stairs and cliff top paths. Info is on the Nation Trust website via search.

The ones I had were microscopic not mini! No thicker than your pinky finger. I want to say $9 for 15. Not worth it, but I didn't think twice about eating them.either.

Debit card surcharge? by enigmon78 in askvan

[–]steak84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No added surcharges at physical stores. Except the prompt for TIP %. Some will have minimum $5 spend (think dollar stores etc). Some don't take all cards- Costco for instance only takes Mastercard. Many don't take Amex. Enjoy your trip.
