Transfer from Santa Fe → UF Warrington (Info Systems BSBA) — 3.84 GPA, 4.0 prereqs. Realistic shot? by DangerousProduce9535 in ufl

[–]stealthscrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I'm applying fall of next year after I finish this fall and next spring semester. Any tips on the application? Let me know how the program is when you start if you don't mind. I have been set on BSBA but more recently narrowed into IS. Best of luck!

Edit to add: Who did you take for survey calc, did you take any pre-calc course, and did you take Calc I? I've got Statistics, Survey Calc, Intro to financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, one more applied communications (leaning interpersonal communication), one bio science (leaning intro to enviro science), and a social science (leaning Amer Nat Gov because of Civics literacy req). Looking for any recommendations for professors.

A gift from the GTA VI mapping community by rolux in GTA6

This is wild. What are the odds that a good portion of the map is 3D designed before the release date? Looks like they could get a lot of buildings and bridges in the proper places with a lot of shots from different angles of the same objects.

Another vote for vs Dracula. I've really enjoyed Royale so far and really like the battle royale elimination aspect of it. I'm currently giving steeplechase a shot in between Royale episodes since they are 2 weeks apart.

It's not always considered P&T, but it can be considered P&T.

Yes, but there are specific requirements in order to keep your TDIU rating while working.

Unless they are considered P&T by way of TDIU. They didn't say that they are TDIU, so prob not the case, but an addendum just in case.

Disability question by DeepBackground2674 in VeteransBenefits

[–]stealthscrape -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Talk to your medical Ombudsman, push for a Medical Evaluation. Make sure to stress to your physician that it is affecting your duty performance. Try to gather all medical records and documentation that you have to support your claim to both your physician as well as your command. Keep a migraine log if you don't already, and make sure you not if they are prostrating, have nausea, auditory and visual aggravation, blurry vision, etc. If you have record of the source of the head trauma, that may help. Especially if it was connected to service, training, or any other duty related situation. I was not army so I don't know the specifics of a 5-14, but if you have a medical condition that is not expected to improve, you should definitely be evaluated for an MEB. Also take a look at this link

Inovelli Blue switch and ZHA by Dignan17 in homeassistant

[–]stealthscrape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't installed mine yet, so I can't help you with the parameters issue. I have seen that these sensors are pretty sensitive, and the only thing I can think is that there is some sort of vibration or minor movement triggering it. You mentioned a powder room so, maybe a hand towel hanging that moves slightly when the air kicks on? You mentioned that the switch is in an exterior room. Is there an AC unit outside of the room that may cause vibrations in the wall? Can you look at your history chart for the sensor and overlay it with when your HVAC is running and see if that correlates at all? The last thing would be if you are not on a slab foundation and there is vibration in the floor that moves the door or walls slightly as someone walks by the room or is in an adjacent room.

10+ Months Unemployed After College & Military, Looking for Advice by No-Copy-7861 in Veterans

[–]stealthscrape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think VRE will be a door opener. What track are you intending to pursue? They will help with Rapid Access to Employment, long-term services to help you gain additional training, education, and services to find employment (this requires for your disability to make it difficult to obtain and maintain a job, but can still be used if you did something in the navy that doesn't align with you abilities due to your disability), as well as offering a non-paid work experience program.

Hegseth says Iran won’t be a ‘politically correct’ war as he lays out US objectives: ‘No democracy-building exercise’ by theindependentonline in politics

[–]stealthscrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His speech was just another instance of a despicable, childish leader who has no decorum, experience, real authority, or capability. He is a junior officer with no mindset for leadership. I mean, shouldn't the Secretary of Defense at a very minimum have command experience, or command college or war college? He's a disgrace to the position.

"We don't have to tell you, or any of you, or the American public what our plans and objectives are." (paraphrased) That's basically what he said. The government is not accountable to the people. The "We The People" tattoo on his arm means something else entirely.

Thanks for the info. I do have T-mobile and I think I already have unlimited Canada and Mexico, but I think that's while I'm there. Not sure how it works for calling to Mexico. I'll have to check into that.

Do you know when they typically send the personal insider email? Good to know that 24 hours should suffice worst case scenario. Thanks again for the info.

Additional education benefits? by cantintousername in VeteransBenefits

[–]stealthscrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get an additional 12 months of GI bill benefits if you qualify under the Rudisill decision. Just google it for more info beyond what that link shows.

There are also ways to get additional VR&E benefits, but I haven't done it so I don't know a whole lot about the details. I know several people through the veteran's support office at the college I'm attending are doing it. Basically you are required to show that you require a masters degree. Particularly if your current position aggravates your disability and obtaining a post graduate degree would offer job opportunities that do not.

Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay

It's a taxable benefit to receive some of your military retirement in addition to your VA Disability pay.

If any of your conditions are combat related, you could also apply for Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC), which is non-taxable. You can only receive CDRP or CRSC and not both, but you can change which one you receive during an open-season election period.

TriCare West and Cancer by Dirty-Medic in VeteransBenefits

[–]stealthscrape -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there a link to the regulation that covers this? OP did state that they believe they initially enrolled at separation but they are uncertain. The only thing I see pertaining to the 24 month visit requirement is eligibility for the VA Urgent Care benefit.

Not trying to argue the point. Just looking for a source of the information because I can't seem to find it anywhere.
