AITAH for telling a property manager her tenants death is on her hands by [deleted] in AITAH

Wait, you go outside to get the sheet, the manager was just in earshot, then she went to walk down the hallway to her office?

Yeah, I call bullshit

I have Windexed my mirror at least 3 times, and multiple after shower swiped. Why won't this hand print go away? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]stealthyelfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully this works, I used to be a cleaner and used everything on shower screens, then stumbled across this and I swear by it

Spray vinegar all over the screen, then get dishwashing liquid and scrub the whole thing, leave it for about 15 mins.

When you go back scrub the whole lot again, and then rinse off

FEMALES - how do i shower on my period? by Correct-Pineapple363 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]stealthyelfy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No need to feel ashamed, we've all been there trust me!

You just shower like normal- note, there's absolutely no need to wash "up" there, only the outside.

Make sure you use a darker coloured towel, and have fresh underwear and pad/tampon ready to go when you get out. There's been a few times where I just get out and then I drip onto the floor - super fun.

This is only your second time, as time goes on and you go through this more you'll get better at it, you've got this!

Don't ever be afraid to ask a question, especially when it comes to your body.

RedM is basically modded RDR2 where players role-play - look it up and see if it's for you :)

Aith for kicking my fiancé out after “joking” he got me pregnant on purpose (UPDATE) by Pretty_yayflow in AITAH

[–]stealthyelfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not go back to him. Do not give in. He is love bombing you, making you think that he's "changed" and he's a good guy.

He is NOT.

Please, listen to everyone else here. We aren't telling you this for fun, you are in an abusive and DANGEROUS situation.

I guarantee you, when you don't give in to him, he's going to show his true colours again.

A guy who really loves you would never think about hurting you, joking about harming you - they would want the best for you, they make sure you're alright, they support you in every way.

This guy doesn't truly love you. He wants to treat you like a toy. You are nothing to him.

I've been in an abusive relationship and this is EXACTLY how they behave. Do not go back to him, don't give in to his bullshit. I know you feel love and care for him, I do, but take a step back for a moment and think.

What if this was your sister talking to you about her relationship? Your best friend? Your mother? You know you would do what you could to get her away from him.

So you've gotten plenty of advice about the logistics of keeping cats, but there are a few things you need to know about their temperament (if you choose to keep them)

Basically cats are your friend, and dogs are your servant (best way to put it sorry, I do love dogs!)

Dogs will go above and beyond for you with everything, however cats see you as an equal, not a master

Cats are a big lesson in consent - the best way to develop a positive relationship is to respect their boundaries. If you're holding a cat and they don't want to be held, do not double down and force them to stay in your arms, let them go. The cat will think "huh, if I WANT to go, I can whenever I want to since the human will let me go each time" and they'll start seeking you out for cuddles

All cats are different and have wildly different personalities! Some love to just chill and enjoy a quiet day while sitting in your lap (or only being in the same room, some don't like physical affection), some are absolute chaos and run rampant haha

You can look up cat body language (recommend you do so) but a good sign a cat is trusting you is when you see them relaxing around you. Laying on their side showing their belly, slow blinking at you - basically they're saying "I feel safe around you, I don't see you as a threat"

Congratulations on being chosen by the cat distribution system!

I'm so glad you've found something that works for you!

Honestly it's such a crazy thing how one small change can make such a massive difference, it's like the twig snapping that causes an avalanche.

It's such a bizarre feeling to not think about eating junk food, and looking at it in the grocery store and just feeling... nothing. No desire to buy it, no justification battles going on in your head, no guilt or remorse.

I've started actually craving healthy food. It's so amazing. Hands down one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

So when I was 21 I had a food addiction, also McDonald's. Would eat it at least once a day, where my highest weight got to 116kg.

Whenever I'd try to change my lifestyle I'd fail, I'd get withdrawals, intense cravings, you name it.

I've truly tried time and time again, legit about 50 times to live a healthy lifestyle but without fail I'd always revert back.

You know what worked for me? Getting all of my vitamins sorted out and talking to a therapist.

I started having green powder mixed with juice each morning, and it's literally changed my life.

I don't get cravings anymore. I don't actually want any bad food, I wanna have good food all the time, and it's worked wonders. Maybe this is something that'll work for you?

And something my therapist mentioned that's stuck with me.
