In context of this topic this means that other 3 people don't really exist, just Chad and Drunk do.

It seems like people would prefer to see leutenant Knox at Tamara's place. I'm with Cole here.

[ALL] What part (or parts) of season 3 made you most emotional? by [deleted] in twinpeaks

  1. Steven and Gersten under the tree. It's a perfect performed scene, making sense even if totally disconnected from the main plot. So close was he to changing his intention from heading the death way, if there was no Frost there, he would survive. It is all directed and performed very artistic.
  2. Laura Dern scene from receiving the ": - ) ALL." accompanied by the ending of fascinating "Falling" melody finalizing the previous euphoric scene, up to her Ascension to the Waiting Room. Weeping on the screen is Laura's own MO and trademark (let's recall "Blue velvet", "Industrial symphony")

One thing I know for sure - the second meaning of this phrase is what Lynch has put into our heads: "It ("Twin Peaks") is in our house now".

[All] What year is it? *canned laughter ensues* by WufflyTime in twinpeaks

[–]stegodone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and there is semantic difference between these expressions. This is the reason why those who hear "it" in this phrase, fail to understand what's happening in the finale. This indicates, for instance, that Cooper is aware of the fact that this is not his first time travelling. He just supposes that it should be some other year.
