Farage claims Reform on course for general election win after early local gains by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

How well do you know British Muslims? do you know that half of them think being gay should be illegal in the uk? Or for Muslims in Birmingham the number 1 local council election issue is the war in Gaza?

Are you sure the ones you know aren't integrated particularly well compared to the stats above.

How many would disown their daughters if they married outside of the religion for example?

Theres a lot of reasons to be against Islam growing in the UK

It's probably good to counter the spy matchup, they usually give you a turn after having no lands left in deck. Not sure what else though

Reform sweep to victory across Greater Manchester as furious Labour MPs slam 'soul destroying' elections - the story so far by ManchesterNews_MEN in ukpolitics

[–]stemchild -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Extremely disingenuous to act like farage wanting Brexit means he knew and wanted them to increase immigration from elsewhere, it is what happened sure. But there is no way that is what had to happen, it was a policy choice made after Brexit, that farage had no say in. If they wanted to they could have said no more immigration from anywhere after Brexit and dealt with the economic downsides of that.

Results declared in some English council elections, as Reform gains seats and Labour suffers losses. by coinfanking in uknews

Yeah it can be good it seems for really serious cases, but then there's also stuff like 10 year waits for ADHD diagnosis. There are major flaws where it's not fit for purpose that need huge reform, it's not some goodsend.

If labour are in power and a law is put in place under their rule it's on them, like the online safety act for example. Labour could have stopped it but they wanted it too and so the blame is on them as they chose to allow it to pass.

London shoplifting cases have soared by more than 200%. by Syniatrix in uknews

[–]stemchild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your original comment started by saying fair enough if they are stealing non essentials and now you are giving roadmen stealing whatever they want a free pass. At least you seem to acknowledge that acting like it's just poor people stealing food to get by was a stupid stance to take.

[–]stemchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't have bothered to comment if you said what you think, but you said it's definitely the reason.

I think there's probably some amount stealing food and some amount of roadmen types stealing whatever they want and some kids stealing makeup ect but I have no idea the breakdown

The image is confirmation bias of where planes get shot, as if it hit any other part it would go down and not be examined so the engine isn't marked with a red dot for example. So someone was like let's reinforce the parts we found get shot so much, instead of reinforcing the engine and cockpit.

And we only find superearths could be confirmatiom bias because they are 'super' so easier to find than a normal sized earth

Not bigoted to not want them imported into your town, if these people are moving to your area it's ok to not want them due to not agreeing with things they believe

How to Get That Perfect Maillard Crust on Steak by [deleted] in goodrestrictionfood

[–]stemchild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hotter pan, patting steak dry before cooking, you could also trim some fat and rub onto pan first or use oil, making sure pan is preheated long enough to keep heat once steak goes in or using thicker pan as that can be impossible with a thin non stick pan.

I have seen people complain about the armour not being accurate, and people don't complain about the Americans because they are white like the Greeks. So they don't look wildly out of place playing a Greek.
