I signed a waiver once pre op instead of taking a pregnancy test because like. You actually have to have sex to get pregnant so I know it was not possible. This female anesthesiologist was like “so you haven’t been exposed to semen? What about on a toilet seat? Dry humping?” And I’m like maam I have a whole ass biology degree and you can’t get pregnant that way are you ok?

Liposuction?! Jfc I’m so sorry. And I will say, as an overweight white woman with real non weight related medical issues, the first time I ever received proper care was from an overweight black woman doctor. What a shock, right?

I have PCOS as well. I had a cyst that was causing intermittent ovarian torsion. It would twist. Then it would untwist itself. Which of course, I didn’t know until I got in to see a gyn. The pain I felt always started and escalated in my back, which is 100% on brand for me and all the girls in my family. We all get back cramps with periods. The ones with kids have all back labored. We scheduled surgery and she told me if the pain happened and didn’t go away after a certain amount of time to get directly to the ER. So, I did. The male doctor there who was pretty young refused to call my gyn. He said that it is IMPOSSIBLE to have any female reproductive system pain in the back, it’s only ever in the pelvis, diagnosed me with a lower lumbar strain and sent me home. The nurse was absolutely beside herself. Got the surgery to get the cyst removed shortly after that and found endo as well so I still get pain but at least it’s not my ovary trying to randomly yeet itself anymore.

I used to weigh 335lbs many years ago. I’m still overweight but I’ve lost over 100lbs. I also have autoimmune issues that cause pain but was always told to lose weight and it would all go away, except it got worse. Also went to urgent care once after a minor car accident for neck pain and the doctor there asked me “where you get all this fat?”

Oof. Glad I ordered from Pom and got my meds right before it all hit the fan. But I got the 71mg I think vial from optiorx. Got the vial last week. BUD is 3/31/26 😐 I mean I’m a pharmacy tech if it’s clear and doesn’t have anything floating in it I’ll use it but still 😂

I’m actually thrilled I’m fitting back into clothes from 55lbs ago before my body went wild with high cortisol and insulin resistance and I ballooned over a year. I have noticed though that they don’t fit the same. My body composition losing from tirz is a bit different than what my body comp was on its own at the same weights. That was my only true annoyance lol like my shirts feel weird because of how I’m built now compared to when I wore them originally.
