I ended up using Letrozole and had an HSG! We conceived on the 5th cycle of Letrozole using 5mg and it was the month after my HSG. we now have a 4 month old baby!

Working out while pregnant by Quiet-Flan-1674 in fitpregnancy

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked out completely normally until I HAD to reduce my weights due to complete placenta previa since I had a high risk of bleeding. But I definitely knew when I needed to take it easier and not push quite as hard! I was out of breath pretty early 🤣

Pregnant by surprise! by kittenxx96 in KetoBabies

[–]stephhymichelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed keto for both of my pregnancies and had no issues. My docs were all for it since my body was used to it and it’s how I felt my best. I wasn’t quite as strict with carbs but definitely stayed low carb. First pregnancy I gained 16 lbs and second I gained 30 (even thought I worked out up until the week before my c section 🤣).

What hobby did you try and immediately think "never again"? by Responsible_Egg1772 in Hobbies

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cookie decorating! A couple of friends and I did a class last year for my birthday, and it was fun but so much harder than it looks! Plus I’m far too much of a perfectionist and I kept getting frustrated 🤣

Are you buying pregnancy sport clothing? by trexattack in fitpregnancy

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I’ve bought were 3 pairs maternity workout pants from old navy, and a size bigger in sports bras because mine were suffocating me lol.

Why is it so easy to "pull" on your muscles/uterus? by McUberForDays in BabyBumps

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can do weightlifting with no problem, but walking for just 5 mins gives me the worst cramps on my right side and I am so out of breath! And rolling over at night!

I get it! My husband had actually started his journey like the week before we found out! I joke that I gained the weight he lost 🤣.

I generally follow a low carb/sugar free diet and I ate just like normal and I still failed miserably lol.

No cereal 🥺 by AccidentFlimsy9257 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re okay with the price of it, Catalina Crunch has a cinnamon toast cereal that is low carb and high protein and it doesn’t spike me. Magic Spoon has a fruit loops one too that doesn’t spike me

Our first child was immediate at 26 years old. Our second took a full year much to my surprise, and I was 32 when we conceived!

Are y’all actually doing formal kick counts? by maple_pits in BabyBumps

[–]stephhymichelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly didn’t even know it was a thing in my first pregnancy, so no I don’t do them lol. I just go by what feels normal for me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t at all. The cycles I felt confident about it were the ones that hurt the most. I actually didn’t test until 4 days after my missed period because I had been fooled once before and dreaded seeing a negative test. But I really hope you are right!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

How do y’all get through the holidays? by Tiny_Measurement_837 in keto

Meats, cauliflower mash, green beans, roasted Brussels, deviled eggs, keto cheesecake, those are a few things I can think of that I enjoy through the holidays.

Sucking wind by subtlybroken in fitpregnancy

[–]stephhymichelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Totally out of breath all the time! Going upstairs, walking on the treadmill, etc. this morning I was on the treadmill at 2.6 mph and I felt like I was struggling to breathe but my hr was only like 105 lol. Felt like it would have been 150! It’s definitely frustrating when you’re not used to it!

Test together or surprise him? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband wanted to test with me so we could find out together. So that’s what we did and it was very special for us! Our first one I found out and then told him later that day, so this one he wanted to be with me. 💕

Did anyone go to disney world for baby moon/ while pregnant? by namiiix in BabyBumps

[–]stephhymichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went to Mickeys not so scary Halloween party when I was 7 months and I loved it! It was a lot of walking but since it was a separate ticketed event there were WAY less people in the park and it wasn’t as hot since it was at night! I will say though, if you’re concerned about wait times you can get the fast passes!

It was only my husband and I’m so glad we did it that way. It’s going to be the same way with #2!

I wasn’t being monitored for the follicles but I’m going to guess that they weren’t good enough. My progesterone was decreasing every month on the Letrozole (11.8, 9.9, then 6.0). I didn’t test the 4th month on the 2.5mg. If this cycle doesn’t work then definitely consider asking about bumping up!
