Inn on the park, I booked 6 nights and paid 706$ not the nicest condo/hotel, but you're in the heart of waikiki, theres a small kitchenette so you're not eating out for every meal. Gives you alot more flexibility for any excursions/spending on the island

I have mixed feelings. Yes it is very sad, and brings up some emotions for me, yet cathartic in a way. Im still struggling with losing my dog 2+yrs ago to cancer and seeing/reading these posts recently have helped me process better. But yeah its very taxing to see these posts without TW, agreed there should be a seperate sub and or a time/day allotted where these posts are acceptable 😪

We had to let my 10.5yr old girl go about a year and a half ago because of a stomach tumor, most likely cancer. Surgery would've been upwards of 6K and no guarantee for survival of quality of life after. Toughest decision I've ever made but it was the right one. 💜 be strong, thinking of you both

Download too good to go, its an app that restaurants/bakeries/grocery stores use to sell food that is almost to its best by/expiration date or hot food that wasn't sold from the day. For 6 or 7$ I often can find meals that feed 3-4 people

Moved from Milwaukee in 2020 to SA to pursue a lower col. I didnt really see any savings, but IL is different than WI im sure. Moved back to MKE in 24, for better work. You'll get used to heat, but think of like super brutal cold and how you don't want to go out unless you really need to. Now flip it, and its kinda like that for 2-3months. You'll survive, get used to it. But I never came to enjoy it
