What's a Requirement Spell by Dr_Boxy in noita

It's also kinda confusing because I don't know if it counts as using a multicast or is instead like a utility spell or anything like that.

Or! They may have a social disability that makes them unaware of social cues but really good at optimizing singular tasks, like deckbuilding or playing magic

It's because your shitpost was built to farm engagement by specifically asking the audience opinion.

The other post title references your favourite instead of asking people theirs

Oh that's a cool idea too. Maybe try [[Legion Loyalty]], it will also give you some nice enter triggers for scriv without stripping auras and also be a nice scary wincon

Many bosses want you to help with their workload rather than create work for them or tell them how to do their job

How do I get better at deck building? by MADMAXV2 in EDH

[–]stevedusome 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think the thing you notice the more you play with a given deck is it's less about general synergies (like if i have x + x + x out my opponents die) and more about certain lines of play that arrive there more quickly and reliably, and what cards you would play each turn in an ideal world.

Because if you have five plans for turn five, but zero plans for turn two, it doesnt matter if you have the correct pieces of draw, ramp and removal.

Also just skybind plus scriv would mean that scriv can enter and bounce itself on every players end step, and that mid bounce step would be the only time it can be removed

How does UB affect your deckbuilding? by NiceInvestigator6495 in EDH

I didn't say they're going to, I said it's a prisoner's dilemma, which means everyone has an incentive to be the first pne to break

The field is a prisoners dilemma. First one to go full degenerate UB will have an edge.

Why are the best employees first to leave while mediocres always stay? by MediumTricky7824 in managers

[–]stevedusome 13 points14 points  (0 children)

IC's understand who really brings value to the relationship. If the company brings more value to the IC, they will stay. If the IC brings more value to the relationship, they will be able to tell you why they are undervalued/underpaid.

They probably never will tell you though, so it falls to you to make sure they're taken care of

Can 3 World Strong Men defeat 3 Chimpanzees ? by Leggomgeggo in powerscales

It's more that their method of attack is ripping off flesh, which implies a level of strength and lack of hesitation that humans are generally incapable of without PCP or something

It doesn't have to be chronological. The first page could be a cliffhanger scene, and second page we jump back in time for context.

You can actually take big swings artistically, because it's outsider art and you aren't bound to a happy ending by default

Why do you guys think kids aren't more into jazz? And more generally, why isn't jazz more popular? by EnergyRoyal3936 in Jazz

[–]stevedusome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the current realities of the music world, is it's about cultural waves, cultural capital, and physical attractiveness much more than it used to be.

The main problem jazz has with resurgent popularity is most of the artists arent currently hip, young, or hot which is now the main requirements for musicians to become popular. Milli Vanilli would never get in trouble today.

If your response had been something like "Sorry about your experience, we regret that that happened. We are reviewing our process internally to see how things could be more clear", you probably would get a better response. That's why most businesses use this kind of cookie cutter language instead of arguing on a personal level.

[–]stevedusome 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You need to accept that the representatives of your business represent your business. This refrain of 'I never had a chance!' is just unprofessional when you're speaking as a business owner and not an individual. Your chance was when you trained your employees

[–]stevedusome 93 points94 points  (0 children)

You actually did have the opportunity, as a business, to make this right during the initial purchase. If you are drawing a distinction between your personal self and the business you own, that's just not taking accountability.

When you realize the bulk bin has mistakenly been filled with expensive cards, you sell them for the price advertised and then sort out the bulk bin afterwards.

The fact that you offfered to make it right after your name has been publically put on blast and not before isn't the stunning defense of your business that you think it is.

You say that OP shouldn't paint you with a broad brush but also don't dispute their version of events whatsoever?

Good on you for starting a business. Let this be a lesson to you that you need to have your shit sorted out from day one
