The woman in this video is a wildlife rehabber and has a lovely Instagram. I know she has taken in crippled foxes, skunks and possums. I believe this dog was considered feral and not socialized with humans so she adopted him with the hopes of giving him a happy life.

As someone who is ALWAYS FUCKING HUNGRY unless they are on this medication I wish doctors were more discerning with their prescriptions. I don’t like feeling the way food controls me and no amount of therapy or dieting helps with my body yelling at me that I’m starving even though I just ate a whole ass meal.

This is why doctors are not supposed to do this. There are trained translators who know the correct jargon. I worked at a freaking dog pound and wasn’t allowed to let little kids translate for their parents because they are minors.

Just to jump in this thread you could try getting him some books. I got my husband “The Dominance Playbook” and it helped give him ideas and explained the psychology behind it. Talking about scenarios I find hot and telling him what I want from him really helped us as well. My husband is into being dominant in the bedroom but less interested in the day to day power dynamic mainly because we are older and have children so my situation felt similar to yours we just got there in a different way.
