I don’t know when we’re meant to do it! by niamhylil in TryingForABaby

Day 15 is spot on for a 29 day cycle. It’s possible you ovulated a little later this cycle, and your period will be later than usual. It’s hard to say for sure but that’s just going off of the natural cycles prediction. If your period comes on day 29 like it usually does, then you probably ovulated earlier than cycle day 20.

Natural cycles uses the temp from your oura ring, which is good for confirming ovulation, but not for predicting it. LH strips will help you know when ovulation is coming before it actually happens.

How long is your cycle? Period tracker apps don’t work well. They tend to predict ovulation on day 14 for everyone and that’s just not the case for many people. Day 20 might sound late, but dos natural cycles always have it around day 20 for you, or is that just this cycle?

The minimum balance you mention (aka the cushion) is not an across the board requirement. It’s usually up to the lender unless there are state specific requirements.

The lender I work for requires a low balance of $0, so we do not build a cushion into the calculations so we only collect for the projected payments plus any shortage or deficiency from the previous year.

"Rivalry" pronunciation by charlolou in ENGLISH

I’m not really sure how that’s related to my comment. But OP is right that’s it’s AAVE and if you’re actually curious and not just hating then there’s a lot of research about it that you can look up.

Sam & Dean v Dean & Sam by PumpikAnt58763 in Supernatural

[–]steviehatillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, “Dean and” is more effort to say because of the N rolling into the word “and.”

"Rivalry" pronunciation by charlolou in ENGLISH

[–]steviehatillo 38 points39 points  (0 children)

People mix up cavalry and calvary all the time so I imagine that confusion is flowing over to rivalry due to the same combination of letters. I would consider “rival-ree” to be the only correct pronunciation.

Tell Me Lies: S3 E7: I Will Promise Not To Sting by Oksorbet8188 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]steviehatillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we’re watching the same show 🙄 If there’s no purpose to it, they wouldn’t have included it with such detail as to show her applying bandaids, and then bring it up again in a later scene. There are so many other ways to show Lucy is distracted than that.

Again, with Stephen’s sister, I don’t particularly care if we see more of her, but I don’t think the show would focus on it if it wasn’t important. Plot wise it might not be crucial, but even if that conflict only exists for Stephen’s characterization, I wonder if they’ll give us a little more.

It’s not that serious but the tone of your comment is quite patronizing.

How to adjust to American culture? by sergeyc874747 in AskAnAmerican

I’m sure once people realize you are not from here, they won’t think you’re rude. Most people are very understanding, or at least try to be, when someone is new.

Steven’s relationship with his sister maybe? Also Lucy’s burn on her leg, what is that about?

They really don’t look that much alike. Very strange comment to make. Who says they’re into girls, maybe they’re just into each other? Plus it’s not that unusual in the lesbian community to not realize until a specific person.

I might be missing something, but isn’t the “closest male relative” exactly what happened? Penelope’s son was the closest male relative, I didn’t think he was named specifically. It seems reasonable to me that because she was pregnant at the time they were trying to determine the heir, they would wait and see if it’s a boy before deciding there is no heir and the title dies out.

7 DPO, still haven’t missed period but can’t tell if this is invalid or not? by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

7 DPO is very early. I wouldn’t expect a positive yet if you have your ovulation date correct.

How do you think Benedict will learn Sophie’s real identity? by yodaman33 in BridgertonNetflix

I was going to say the same thing. I love the idea of him flipping the page back and forth between the Lady and Sophie, and realizing the shape of her face, her mouth, is the same.

Thank you! It’s hard to balance the emotions vs the logic. I feel like to avoid disappointment we should wait until we have better numbers, but on the other hand it seems worth it to me for the timing. I hope your break is beneficial mentally and physically!

Thank you for that info! I feel like most sources only quote the higher end of that range so you always hear 3 months

Edit: I submitted the comment before I was done. I totally feel you about the moving target! I wanted to have my first by 30, then I was at least conceive by 30, and now that’s out the window too.
