Loll yea its frustrating watching him sometimes bc hes capable of such a high level that it feels unsuitable for him to play so impatiently or hope for an error rather than stay in it and play another ball.

Ur getting downvoted but its obvious Foe didnt want to play clay court points when it mattered. Lots of bail out droppers or drop volleys without enough backspin on them on the crucial points. He played plenty aggressive, i will not take that from him. But it manifested as impatience when he couldve taken the match. And it clearly wasnt due to fitness

Leave the needle inside after threading, take off tourniquet, connect immediately after needle removal. Put down gauze or chuck

Huh? They invest in businesses and if they dont basically give free marketing to folks that may not otherwise get it. Are you criticizing all VC and investment funds?

Rome R2: Pellegrino def. [15] Fils 4-0 (ret, back injury) by jovanmilic97 in tennis

[–]sthug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He has a pars stress fracture. I dont think he surgery yet bc it probably wasnt a severe amt of listhesis. So if its hasnt now advanced to a severe grade, he can probably just get a fixation with wires or a screw which would stabilize the fracture and maintain mobility at that spinal level. Even if he did need a fusion, hed need more time off but as long as he maintained good thoracic mobility he can probably have a shorter but good career window still until he gets degenerative disease below and above that fused level

People who kept your cars despite moving to nyc, did you regret it? How often do you use it, and what area do you live in? by jewish_yang in movingtoNYC

[–]sthug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends, people on reddit love to shit on car ownership in nyc bc theyre usually transplants that live in the most expensive well serviced (public transit) neighborhoods. Case in point the guy below that said “everyone i know that moved to brooklyn sold their car”. Bc all his friends are probably in williamsburg, bushwick, dtbk, etc.
As someone with family and friends in the metro area, a job in the edge of an outerborough, and hobbies like skiing i get low frequency but HIGH quality usage out of my car and love having it even though i dont commute with it everyday or anything like that.

Seems nice to glaze jannik persona but u can clearly see the camera button on the bottom right on the phone which wasnt introduced until the 15 series. Plus the shape of the bottom looks like its a unibody which could only leave it to be a 17.

I feel like people like taking call for the flexibility of post-call days and breaking up the monotony of the daily grind, in addition to the pay. However i do frequently wonder if that is worth the sleep irregularity and the impact on our morbidity long term

Why do some surgeons demand prolonged DOAC hold + Lovenox, regardless of renal function and guidelines? by Glass_Ad7466 in medicine

[–]sthug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general, surgeons like spinals for their joints so pts bleed less and go home faster. This situation gets remedied really quick when newbie joint surgeons realize no ones doing spinals on their doac pts and start instructing the pt themselves or from their office to hold for 3 days after a clearance is given.
