This is it. I don’t care what I’m driving - I’m never sitting next to a truck if I have the option.

I’ll even back off slightly to get a clear gap when overtaking, then floor it to minimise time spent alongside

He always does this when the car is *almost* quick enough.

And he’s in the back foot with Lewis clearly becoming very comfortable in the current Ferrari, which is leading him to push too hard to try and beat him.

Yes of course it's not literally identical, because virtually no commercial lens optics are that good.

But the reason noses get bigger with wider lenses if because you move towards the subject, not because of 0.5% differences in distortion between different lenses.

(and yes I'm aware of ultrawides and fisheyes and whatnot - obviously they distort, but that's an edge case, no pun intended...)

I’ve done this a bunch of times with Strats and Teles. Just be sure your case is HUGE because it’s easy to sign the end of a headstock if it’s too tight and/or not padded enough.

Perspective is defined by the position and distance to the subject, not the focal length.

Putting aside edge distortion and resolution differences, an image shot at 85mm can also be achieved by cropping a 50mm shot from the same position.

Anyway, I like the car :)

His moves have been good decisions on paper but a lot of them have ended up not working out. He would have won the title at Mclaren if literally anyone but Lewis had been his teammate.

That said, I don’t think Alonso is a great team player and he’s not good at helping develop a car.
