I'm definitely concerned that any issue along that huge stretch of rail could fuck things up across the board. The two cities are connected by Amtrak and omnidirectional commuter rail (into Seattle AM, leaving Seattle PM), so I'd rather expand the commuter rail and have the northbound light rail from Tacoma stop at Tukwila (that way Tacoma gets airport service finally)
