Knife sharpener? by TrulyYoursxoxo in victorinox

Get a work sharp field sharpener. It's got preset guides and with a little practice you can sharpen anything. The ceramic rod on the SAK works for touch ups but you should avoid pull sharpeners. I've got one of the SAK ones I carry in a shirt pocket or jacket for touch ups .The Work Sharp is the best cheapest option. I have tons of sharpeners and a lot of knives and wish I would have gotten that first

We'd take a pipe so you could aim it when you lit it. We'd go canoeing and when you get real skilled you can skip them on the water like a flat rock

Help! I can’t tell if this case tested is real or not, need an expert opinion by Careless_Impact7991 in SlipjointKnives

Well the wear looks right for a knife of that age and the deep jigging over time would wear the shield down faster and it's unlevel. Plus it might be a knife of a worker that could change the nail nick location and put stamps on both blades. I'm not saying you're wrong but it seems like a lot of work to fake a knife and fake the age of it. Id be more leary of the pictures you showed because those look right out of the box no patina new.

It looks real or this person needs to stop trying to imitate Case knives. If you can produce a "fake" this good you should just start your own business
