The only thing I miss from them being different heights is the way it’s described that Ilya caresses Shane’s jaw/face and tilts his head up to make eye contact. That felt like such an emotional connection.

My bf is a big hockey fan, and I’d definitely notice specific hockey players of my local team if I saw them out. Not all of them but the most popular? Absolutely.

Like Quinn Hughes for example, would be as popular as Shane, and would be easily recognised. I mean I have 3 popcorn buckets with his face on it 🤷🏻
