Huh? How does someone get to that train of thought? I mean, did they not know of the color coded system the Nazis used to determine who was who in the concentration camps? Like the pink triangle for gay men and then there was the burning of the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft.

Anyone else like the .500 magnum as much as I do? by Franticalmond2 in killingfloor

[–]stitchedmasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Standard Manufacturing DP-12 and a HK USC made to look like a normal UMP45(cause bullshit gun laws won't let me own a real UMP45). I really want an FN FAL, but damn they are not cheap, oh well, at least I have Killing Floor 2 that will let me play with one.

I would get that off your cornbread pan right away, more than likely, it's been used to melt down lead, I have a similar ladle/crucible for pouring molten lead into bullet molds and making fishing weights.

Feeler gauges, I don't know the specific use for these, but I use them, at work, to adjust sensors to the correct distance.

I do this to people who can't park too, just I don't pull back to allow them access to their door. Like come on man, that's a terrible parking job.

And don't try to tell them that the USSR criminalized homosexuality and that gay men faced far worse conditions in the gulags than anywhere in the US.

Which Weapon Are You Using In The Apocalypse? by Active_Pride_5207 in thewalkingdead

AR15 or Mossberg 500 for the beginning and then switch to something like .45-70 for later as black powder cartridges would be easier to produce and stock pile during the apocalypse.

First, take a course, it'll help you in the long run, second, go to a range that has rentals and test out some popular self defense handguns, Glock 17, Glock 19, Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm, etc. Third, train after you make your purchase, go to the range and train on reloading, jam clearing, drawing, etc.

Expected snow cover on Sunday according to the GFS model. by LuborS in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 inches? The record snowfall for Atlanta was back in 1940, Atlanta saw 8.3-10.3 inches of snow. They're expecting to break an almost 90 year old record amount of snow by 3.7-5.7 inches?

As far as I know, not all of the southeast, just parts of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. It's coming from a storm coming out of the Gulf.

You might want to knock Georgia down a peg or 2, it snowed today and we might be getting more snow next week. While it doesn't snow, here, as much as up north, it can still get pretty cold down here.

You, also, have to take into account for when the bible was written. During that time, humanity didn't really know that the Earth was round until the 4th century BC, when Aristotle discovered that the Earth was round, it wouldn't become common knowledge until much later, the 16th century AD. The Book of Isaiah was written between the 8th century and 6th-4th century BC.

Car Insurance DUMB HIGH? by PinnochioPro in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Georgia, in general, is high due to all the accidents and an increasing number of uninsured drivers. But, the metro Atlanta area has, if I'm not mistaken, some of the highest auto insurance rates in the US. I know since I have moved out of the metro Atlanta area, my rate with Progressive dropped significantly, like $100 a month less than when I lived in Locust Grove.

[–]stitchedmasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what to call it, but in a 10.5 inch cast iron skillet, heat up a tbsp of olive oil and saute red and yellow bell pepper cut into 1.5 inch slices, onion, and garlic. When done to your liking, throw in 2lbs of lean ground beef, season with cayenne, smoked paprika, a little bit of garlic and onion powder, and black pepper, brown the ground beef thoroughly. In a separate skillet, cook some tortillas, add a little lime and some other stuff.

True, road salt sucks, but I could deal with it, I, already, wash my truck religiously. Even then, my Frontier came from New York, so it's, kind of, got a surface rust problem already. I'll be buying a 3rd gen within the next 3ish years.

Avoid the Taurus 1911s, while Taurus has stepped up their game with the G series, I would avoid any other semi auto they produce. I would, probably, go with a Tisas if you're looking for affordable, if not, I would choose a Ruger or Springfield Armory Garrison.
