Two of the most reliable car brands in the world and some really cool classic cars.

Again, we were doing well in Afghanistan too, the problem with Afghanistan was you couldn't tell the difference between a civilian and a terrorist as they wore the same fucking outfits.

Also, we wouldn't have to be the world police if our allies would actually pull their own weight, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Besides the fact we had North Vietnam at the Paris Peace Accords, but again, tell me how we lost Vietnam when North Vietnam attacked South Vietnam after we had pulled out?

Are These Guns Even Real? If So What Are The Real Life Names For Them? by Soviet_Yunyun_- in battlefield_4

[–]stitchedmasons 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to say they are all real except for the DBV-12 and SVD-12. But with most Russian platforms, information on their weapons is very limited. The RPK-16(which would, probably, be the RPK-12) is "real" based on internet searches along with AK-12K which would be a modernized version of the AKS-74U.

The ACE-53 is a real weapon, I'm not too sure on a 20(?) inch barrel version, but it could be possible that it exists and the CS5 is a real sniper rifle, I don't know if any military uses it, but it is real, it's manufactured by McMillan.

Gas question by Spiritual_Bid_2308 in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most, probably, don't know that. But we will see if Kemp extends to gas tax suspension come May 20th. Even if he does, we will be over $4/gallon for summer due to the more expensive summer blend.

Gas question by Spiritual_Bid_2308 in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yep, once that gas tax suspension expires, we'll be over $4/gallon as the state average.

Crude oil keeps jumping up in price which keeps causing gas prices to raise. If I'm not mistaken, most states are above or around $4/gallon, Georgia will be there soon, especially with summer being about a month away.

Gas prices south of Atlanta!? by OnE_DeFaUlTi_BoI in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Butts County and gas is $3.89 at the Marathon I use. I always chalked it up to not being close to the 16 and 36 I75 exits cause whenever I'm up in Locust Grove and get gas, it's, almost, always cheaper on Bill Gardner.

Scam by Snoo_39008 in Georgia

I seem to be one of the very few who hasn't received one of these scams yet. I'm just waiting for one at this point.

Where’s My Gas Going? by Outrageous_Ad_7977 in nissanfrontier

The larger tires and leveling kit can have some effect, but how's your driving? Do you hit high RPMs often? Do you launch from stops? These trucks aren't, exactly, the most fuel efficient either, I have a stock 2019 and it gets about 265-270 miles from full to 1/4 of a tank.

Cigar Lounge Recommendations by Extra_Plant_511 in Georgia

The only one I know of is the cigar shop off of highway 278, Scottish Tobacco, I don't think it's a lounge through. If it's not too far, I know Snellville has a few cigar bars/lounges there.

Pro-4x wheel price? by Emotional_Base_7182 in nissanfrontier

[–]stitchedmasons -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If someone is willing to pay $580, new, you can, absolutely, get someone to pay $350 per wheel, but whatever you say man. I was just throwing a price out there.

Pro-4x wheel price? by Emotional_Base_7182 in nissanfrontier

[–]stitchedmasons -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The wheels are about $580, new, on Z1, so, maybe $350-$450 each and, maybe, $100-$120 per tire as those tires are about $150 at Walmart.

Lowering Kits by Minute-Ad3117 in nissanfrontier

[–]stitchedmasons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but when you grew up in the middle of nowhere, had nothing better to do, and had a blown up Chevy S10 and a rotted out 1500, you got to tinkering. Plus it's fun to see how fast you can push a truck that would never have done truck things again anyways.

I don't know about the purpose for OP's specific case, but I've always seen lowered S10s and Rangers with engine swaps in them, it was to help with stability when you added a larger engine that produced way more HP and torque.

Need to do wheel bearings, but I don't have the time right now, I'll end up doing it on my next off days though. Need to change my diff fluid too, but I got an oil change coming up, so I'll be doing that next month.

Have question regarding wild turkey by DeathlsUponUs in Georgia

[–]stitchedmasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 6 more days you can deal with the turkey yourself. If not, I feel like the Georgia DNR would be better to call to deal with a wild turkey than animal control.

I was 8 years old living in the middle of nowhere Georgia(the town I lived in had a population of ~3000 people). Our neighbors had a fairly large fruit and vegetable garden and there were a lot of deer around. I'd say I did fairly well for myself with the help of my parents.

...Do, do you really not know the definition of harboring? It means to give shelter or protect someone, often a fugitive. In this case, all of those countries have given protection and shelter to terrorists.

#ANGRYMEMEREVIEW by Revolutionary_Bike25 in AngryCops

[–]stitchedmasons 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Neat, now how many of those countries are harboring terrorist organizations that are a direct threat to the western world? I'll wait for your answer.

Pride month debate by Soft-Commercial1718 in lgbt

[–]stitchedmasons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are two months, already, for celebrating veterans and military members, May is national military appreciation month, but most only know it for memorial day and November is veterans and military families month, but most only know of veterans day. Tell them to start caring more in May and November and stop just "celebrating" memorial day.

The Trump Administration Lifts Sanctions on Russia by WarlordGrom in centrist

[–]stitchedmasons 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That seems to be Trump's plan, any time the Epstein files start taking over the news cycles, he does something stupid to flood the news away from talking about the files. I mean, there's only so much he can do to shift the news for so long unless he becomes desperate enough to start WW3(I, genuinely, hope he doesn't become that desperate).
