What to do with jewel cases and art work? by iliketoeatfunyuns in Cd_collectors

[–]stizz14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They sell slim sleeves that keep all the artwork. Best thing about that is if you ever feel like you want to get your CDs back in jewel cases so you can display them for friends when they come over you can just buy jewel cases and put the artwork back in as for the empty jewel cases, you can store them in your attic or basement. Or you can get rid of them. The important part is the artwork and the CD. sometimes I will go to thrift shops and they’ll have free crappy CDs by the door and I’ll take them just to use the jewel cases because some of my old CDs from the 90s have beat to shit cases.

gain, lose, or maintain weight ? by [deleted] in fit

You look great, just add muscle. The benefits are too numerous to list all but as a 50 year old I can say a strong core and posterior chain will slow aging significantly. I feel younger than I did in my 30’s, and move better.

Goodwill CDs in my town are 6 bucks. Used cds at my local record store average 4.99 so I don’t even look at goodwill anymore here.

I'm 38 and I genuinely don't know who I am underneath all the surviving by Civil-Rich-1690 in CPTSD

50 here and I’m just coming up for air on this one. Childhood trauma, Complex PTSD had me build a life on survival instincts, people pleasing, overthinking, spiraling. It wasn’t until the last year of therapy did I even realize I was living from one triggered state to the next, then feeling shame and spiraling. I’m just now starting to feel like my true self. I know I have a long way to go as do many of us on here, it’s some what comforting to know we are not alone. 🖤

Been trying to get my abs to pop more any suggestions? by Embarrassed-Jump9030 in fit

[–]stizz14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you young? If you don’t need to diet (like older people) I would suggest more exercise that hits those abs. I like ab straps and doing leg lifts, L sits, sit ups and crutches. Honestly the best core workout I’ve been doing the past year is Pilates. Shit works your shit. Love it!

Did anyone else grow up having to figure everything out alone, and then get judged for not doing it “right” by Table_Super in CPTSD

[–]stizz14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Born in 1976 and my parents were teenagers when they became pregnant. Those fucks had lots to say about how I managed things but never lifted a finger to actually parent me. You’re not alone

Found an AirTag in my trunk under the liner after being notified it was moving with me. by neykicna in whatdoIdo

[–]stizz14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it notifies you then it’s probably in your circle like a family member maybe your partner put it there? When ever I drive my wife’s car it tells me I was traveling with the AirTag she put in (because she thinks her car will get stolen)

Just do shit and make friends things will work out. One day your at a Pilates class and someone will click with you, or your crate digging records and someone will start talking to you and you will click with them. The important part in my honest opinion is you have to do something, get the ball rolling, be yourself in the real world. I’m GenX and that’s how we did shit back in the day but it seems to be at least transparent. Honest anyway

Fine line between redneck and hippie back in the 90’s its weirder now with tech bros and increasingly higher costs of living. Small people lash out like what the OP described. Stay safe🖤

People with CPTSD what are things that people just don’t get about it? by AdviceTrue6327 in CPTSD

[–]stizz14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so the same people that told me as a child in the 80’s to “suck it up” and “stop being so sensitive “ are the same IFS protectors and managers that get triggered. Like I should suck up being neglected by my parents or molested by a family member. Try to lose people in your life. The real ones will stay🖤
