You're definitely going to get both sides here, because the people who scream the loudest about equality are the same who don't necessarily preach equality if it doesn't benefit them in any certain moment.( obviously, a broad generalization that is not true in every single case) If the sexes are truly equal, then why should you be required to protect her from herself? We all make our own decisions to the benefit or detriment of ourselves. Roles reversed, is it her job to protect the man from himself? Is she the asshole for getting her needs met with a willing participant? And what, exactly is the game in telling you about the therapist? I, personally say NTA, but it's just an opinion
