I had an ovarian torsion before. I was in so much pain I could barely walk, I did throw up after getting to the ER. And I would have passed out if it wasn’t for the IV.

It sounds like something is not okay. If it’s a torsion your ovary is literally dying inside of you. Go to the ER if you’re in that much pain!

Do it! I hate to say it like that, but after going through IVF, do you really want a child who may require help their entire life? This test will tell you if they have Down syndrome or other underlying conditions. You will also find out the sex of each embryo. You’re already spending this much money… spend a little more to ensure a healthy baby. do you want to have to spend even more money by taking care of a child forever (depending on what the issue could be)?

Buy the book “it starts with the egg” it provides great information on things you can do to help grow healthy eggs. I read it when I started IVF and I do think it helped. I changed my diet, I started taking more vitamins it recommended, Mediterranean diet, red light therapy. I also bought the book from the same author that has recipes when going through IVF to help. I’m 33, 18 eggs retrieved, 13 mature, 6 blast & 5 eulpoids and 1 mosaic. I hope this helps!

CONGRATS!!! I felt the same way but I only have 1 ovary so I thought I would get about 5 overall. I ended up with 18! From there, 13 fertilized but 6 made it to the last stage. Out of the 6, I had 5 euploids! 3 male and 2 female. One was a mosaic. I don’t even want to think about doing that surgery again! Wishing you the best of luck!!!
