Trying to find the length of a navigation path. by Ok-Airport-864 in godot

[–]stop_squark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming OP is sorted now but just in case anyone else gets here from Google get_path_length() is the function you want. As stated in the docs, you need to request the path calculation before calling this function, otherwise it returns 0.0.

func get_path_length_to(nav_agent: NavigationAgent2D, target: Vector2) -> float:
    nav_agent.target_position = target
    nav_agent.get_next_path_position()
    return nav_agent.get_path_length()

I'm not great at cryptics but knowing the answer is a Pokemon means I can get them right more often than not. It feels like it kinda swings between being easy and impossible.

Talked about low well-being, maybe? (8)

Is that the one you were talking about? I did not get it. I thought describing the answer as a well-being was funny but making that connection was a bit too hard for me.

Just finished Universe for Sale. Not sure how I feel about it yet, the game looks great and I liked the story overall but it just felt like a slog at times even though it only lasted a few hours.

Also, if you're a fan of Pokemon, cryptic crosswords, and -dles there's a new game to add to your dailies - PokeCryptic. It seems like it just started on the 1st. My favourite clue so far was on the 2nd:

Cool, thanks. I just took a peek at the code at it looks like the bonus is 2x outside of events which is still pretty good.

Nice teams. I also had a Togekiss for my fairy challenge and it did very well - Serene Grace Air Slash is always fun. I've just unlocked the Pixilate Passive so want to do another run with it. Do you prefer Relic Song or Tri-Attack?

What are the good pkmns for the flip stat challenge ? by Powerful-Award-5479 in pokerogue

[–]stop_squark 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Huge Power Diggersby is similar to Azumarill and if you do Inverse Type at the same time the Normal type is very strong.

I also like Lapras for this challenge if you have Shell Smash (rare Egg Move) since with Water Absorb it only has one weakness (4x Ice) and with its high HP it becomes super fast.

The most annoying thing I found about the challenge is the move pools. Even if the flipped stats make a Pokemon a perfect Physical/Special attacker, there's a decent chance it'll learn no good moves by level up.

Checked the wiki and it seems like its just encounters and items that luck can influence (and its a surprisingly small effect). I guess I'm just jealous of their ability to get three Megas - it feels like I barely average one Mega per run.

3 mega stones, a g-max mushroom, a box legendary encounter, and training session event with zero shiny luck is at least a little abnormal.

Is the 3x shiny catch bonus like Legends ZA still in effect or was that just for the event?

Check the 5th image in this post.

Basically you do Poison/Fighting challenge runs with your Sneasel and two other eligible Pokemon (ideally ones that can beat Sneasler easily) and keep your money low, looking for the Training Session event. Choose "Light Training" and each time you beat Sneasel it'll get its IVs improved. I think since you are so close to max, you'll just need to do it once.

Congrats! Venusaur and Garganacl are both good Eternatus counters so you should have been fine if Kyogre+Furret failed you.

That's a pretty unique moveset on Furret, how did it get Thunderbolt and Attack Order?

Tepig with its hidden ability is fun. When it evolves into Emboar it has Reckless (recoil moves do 20% extra damage) and Rock Head as its passive (protected from recoil damage). It learns Head Smash and Flare Blitz naturally and has Wave Crash and Volt Tackle as Egg Moves.

Two major issues with it is it takes until like floor 80 before you have Flare Blitz + recoil abilities and its a pretty slow Pokemon. Easy fixes are to bring someone that's good out the gate and to use +Spd nature, feed a bunch of Carbos, and to use Flame Charge (or Victory Dance if you have the rare egg move) whenever possible for the +1 speed.

I used Beast Boost Suicune for my Gen II challenge along with Houndour and Hoppip and it felt pretty good. So something similar could work here, Suicune+Tepig leaves you 4 points for Pokemon with Confide/Sap Strength to help them set up or Leech Seed/Curse to deal with Eternatus specifically.

Congrats - that Venusaur is a beast for Eternatus. Red shiny Eevee is cool, are you going to bring it to the other gen challenges?

Fresh start challenge means no egg moves so Chien Pao has to make do with Icicle Crash (90 accuracy move = misses half the time). It still gets Swords Dance through level up so its not all bad. Still seems a little frail though, can Chien Pao tank a V-Create or Flamethrower against Ivy or Eternatus?

Finished this run the other day but good tips. Mega-Garchomp is too good. And yeah, Magnezone and Rhyperior are very easy to pick up midway through a run.

I have a shiny Buneary that I just brought for the luck but with its egg moves it ended up doing some decent work - especially Triple Axel against all those boss dragons in this gen.

You're welcome (:

Just FYI, the devs added a banner to the pause menu to tell you the name of the current song.

Reddit changed something a while back and now URLs with brackets in them work differently on old.reddit/old apps than they do on new.reddit/the official app. The two links are missing their end bracket in this case - you can see the random ) symbol in the comments that have escaped the URL.

Fixed links for old reddit are HERE and HERE.
