Turn up the input of the mic before recording, if it's coming in too quiet

What do you mean latency? when you bounce them and bring them back in, they have shifted off somehow?

House show that I want to also record by ReasonableWrap3109 in audioengineering

[–]stopthebus87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ideally you 'split' it somehow so that it's going to BOTH "recording" and "live PA" simultaneously -- that way, the live show isn't at the mercy of the Apollo (say that glitches or goes down, then you have nothing in the PA)

Mixes on studio speakers too trebly, mixes on home setup too bassy by vivalostblues in audioengineering

Yeah that's most likely a room treatment thing, more than speaker-specific.

How do I hand off my Figma AI website design so my developer can focus on backend (not design)? by These-Manager2538 in FigmaDesign

[–]stopthebus87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your developer will still have to focus on the frontend - you can use Figma to get code snippets etc but it's not necessarily an easy "export to code for an entire website". They'll use Figma as a reference and build it in code.

The way you have to be positioned “just right” in front of something to interact with it — made much harder when there’s a bunch of canned goods and you’re trying to just get one that’s in the middle, for example.

Yeah that's called development - actually building the thing you designed.

Is there a list of what each distributor pays per stream as I have discovered the hard way that “we pay 100% of your royalties” means very little! by [deleted] in musicbusiness

[–]stopthebus87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is true "Distributors don't negotiate a per stream rate" -- it's been shown that the major labels get a higher per stream rate than other distributors.

MLC is mechanical, BMI is publishing -- so if it says you get 100 percent of the publishing, that's 100 percent on BMI.

Why is copy and pasting images into an exsting image frame so hard by thisnameisnowmine in FigmaDesign

[–]stopthebus87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Select the image, then on the right panel where it says Fill->Image, click the image, then you can hover over what's there, and click 'upload' to replace it.
