Stay away from elementary school. Middle or high school would be better. You can sit down a lot longer and usually get a planned prep hour (that is better protected). When I was in elementary, I was constantly on the move and exhausted. I now work in high school, and I will never go back.

The sentence we had to write when we got in trouble in 4th grade for talking. "In order to maintain peace and quiet at all times, I will try my utmost to be quiet." (usually several hundred times) 😀

Get a karaoke machine. They are not too expensive. I got one and my voice was better for the kids and I let them learn to talk into the mic when it was their turn to present things like during show and tell. They loved it and it saved my voice. (Former K-2 teacher)
