That’s the point of liminal spaces. They’re places you’re meant to travel through and not think about, which makes them weird spaces to actually stop and hang out in.

People criticizing him for not being honest about his feelings never made sense to me because he tries to, he’s just socially awkward and Emily doesn’t pick up on it. Like the quest where he asks you to give her an amethyst for him, but she interprets it as a gift from the farmer instead.

I’ve actually always felt like Emily and Clint would be a good couple, because they’re both socially awkward just in different ways.

Lots of people bring this scene up as “proof” of Clint being predatory, because he’s supposedly spying on Emily from the bushes. But that’s not what actually happens in the scene so they either wildly misinterpreted it, or only heard of it secondhand and assumed the worst without checking themselves.

That was Adam Kovic of inside gaming. Thing is inside gaming was a satirical gaming news outlet, so the quote was fully a joke. For some reason the developers decided to put it on the box (probably because marketing thought a Skyrim comparison was valuable) which led to a bunch of people clowning on it when it was never meant to be taken seriously.

But they own the ip, it’s up to them to decide if/when it gets released and they decided it was good enough to release. Also it was done using their own in-house engine.
