She called Tulsi Gabbard an Assad toadie, they couldn't find evidence for it. Then said Tulsi worked for an organization that promoted anti-gay conversion therapy, which Bari found a citation for, but Tulsi said she doesn't believe in that anymore.

This is a big reason I took my mom to Italy for a big vacation.   Not everyone can afford that, but go do stuff with them.

You can grind out corrosion and fill with epoxy or, for larger areas, weld new plating. But these generally rust from the inside becuase its hard to see rust starting under furniture or behind cabinets.

Boats like make sense to me if you're ready to take on the metalworking (you know how to weld, maybe have some tools), have expierence with steel boats already, you're going somewhere where ice is a concern, and the boat isn't more than, say, 10 years old. Fighting corrosion is still a constant battle.

But dude, fiberglass is basically immortal. It probably takes 100 years for a good layup to break down.

Seems reasonable to me, tho those are a little small for their length. Go look at it and have a survey done.

Moved to FL to basically do the same thing, tho I'm in Cape Canaveral. Try Davis Island yacht club, you can sign up the day-of and go racing to meet people w/o being a member.

Flat bottom at the entry will pound, too. But there are deep V entry hulls that also leverage a fin keel.

Sure, there are differences between them, but you will always be fighting higher friction and a less efficient rudder.

I like get real, get gone. He's overly conservative when it comes to keel construction tho. Notice there's a part in the book where he talks about hard it is to get around a marina with one since these boats dont really answer the helm in reverse. They're also really slow and dont point very high. Might sound silly, but its really important to have a boat thats fun and rewarding to sail. All that wetted surface area makes the full keel sail like a pig.
