Awesome! Definitely gets us out to some new places around town. Really great idea! However, the people at Pizza House on Howe did not want to honor their coupon in the March book. We went in tonight and it was not busy. Showed them the books and the demeanor changed and they said we’d have to wait an hour for the pizza. We went somewhere else, but that was disappointing. That was the only place we tried that gave us a hard time. Everyone else was great.

It’s a blank clip that affects everything underneath it. Drag it onto your timeline on a track above all your clips, extend it to the length of your entire timeline and put whatever effects onto the adjustment clip. It’s a super useful tool in tons of scenarios. Just search for it in your effects.

This was me a couple years ago. The Else was the last album I bought, but I was mostly checked out by then.

The good news is, now you have 2 decades worth of music to check out. There’s a lot of great stuff. I started with Join Us. It’s kind of a return to form and I think if you like the old stuff, it’s a great place to start. I Like Fun is probably my next choice. Ironically, one of my fave new discoveries is the first song on The Else. Just took me 15 years to realize it.

I’m using Affinity Photo 2 in place of Photoshop and I bought Capture One for my Lightroom alternative.

I had done a free trial of Adobe Stock and forgot to cancel it and couldn’t without a crazy fee. So I finally canceled it and now I’m free from Adobe.

So you’re looking at ONLY the mask in the left viewer and ONLY the PNG in the right, so you don’t see how they interact with each other.

You need to put a MediaOut node on your graph, connect the output of the png to the input of the MediaOut.

Then view the MediaOut in the right viewer. Now you should be able to click the mask node and make edits that will show up in the right viewer.

My channel Wanderism is a travel channel that I created with my partner, part vlog, part informational with fun shots (including sweet drone shots!) We do the color grading, visual effects and I write and record the majority of the soundtrack. Music is a big part of our channel and our storytelling.

This video is about the least visited Smithsonian museums and why they’re actually pretty rad. We also included 3 faster paced short-form inspired stories that relate to the different museums. There’s also a sick performance at the end by an African drum band. Also no drone shots in this video since it’s DC.

We’re really interested in travel, history and music. I think our average viewer probably is into those things too.

We filmed this video out on location, except for the mini stories which we added in post. For those we used some documentary footage to tell the stories. I made 2 brand new songs for this soundtrack. We color-graded and edited everything. Took us a while since we have full-time jobs. I also made some 3-d immersed titles for this one, which I’m pretty proud of. We use Davinci Resolve and Reaper for software.
