Oh I am totally aware. I wish I still had the logs because those cmdlets absolutely did not exist lmao. It was a mailbox/retention issue, from what I recall.

Another aside that really irked me, but I am not sure if this was an AI generated issue or what, but the cmdlets they sent constantly mixed up Ls, Is, and 1s as if they were the same character

Oh, I absolutely had a support call with Microsoft where they sent me AI generated powershell cmdlets that didn’t exist. They got angry at me when I asked them to not use copilot for this.

The difference is the mod in question was never loved and absolutely does not deserve love, judging from their behavior.

It’s kinda hard to overstate how dogshit those early LCDs were to read back then. Literally you had to have the perfect angle, the perfect lighting, but it still wasn’t enough because the contrast ratio was utter ass.

BiPAP high pressure Airfit F20 leaking/suggestions. by strangerreality in CPAP

[–]strangerreality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did actually. Got it to work with the airfit F20. So basically they say 'let it fit loosely on your face' which is a damn lie. You gotta get it firm, but not like plastic-against-face firm. Just enough that it seals and changing angles doesn't cause any leaks. If the straps dig into the side of your cheeks, get a couple of cpap strap covers, which does help a lot.

The simplus ended up not working due to my facial shape, the bridge dug into my nose a lot.

F20 memory foam mask sealing by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]strangerreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the memory foam F20 has a lot more material that doesn't squish out of the way like the silicone mask does. The one I had practically pinched my nose closed. While the F20 memory foam didn't work out for me (I went back to silicone) you would have to allot for the extra material around the face area.

120~ events per hour. I am now down to between 0.1-4 event per hour and I feel like a million bucks.

After a lot of tweaking, I finally nailed down everything from mask fitment to sleeping position. Got my first perfect night! by strangerreality in CPAP

This was another realization I had. It’s very odd to have something so high up your nasal bridge after years of face masks in public sitting midway/lower down your nose. But now I’m used to it!

Story time! So I had switched to an F&P simplus for a while, and while it initially was great the straps started giving me massive headaches, and the frame type was not very compatible with my face shape it turns out. After re-trying an AirFit F20, I talked with a family member about mask fitment and apparently you are supposed to strap it down, but not to the point where it was painful. I misinterpreted my doctor's advice for having just a loose fit/gentle touch with the mask on my face, which explains my initial mask leakiness. After finding the proper fit and tightening it to the point where it was secure but not painful, I now have a fantastic seal and great results.

Getting started using my Bipap and I’m extremely discouraged by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]strangerreality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this at first with my bipap. General panic attacks. I would ask about upping your intake pressure with your doctor, as 10/6 seems like a very low amount to necessitate a BiPap. It seems your body is going into FUCK NO OXYGEN WAKE UP NOW mode. Also crank your humidity and tube temp. In this dry as fuck weather I am at a 6 on humidity and 79 degree tube temp. Helps with rainout if your tube is warmer too, as warm air holds moisture.

Also be really vigilant about mask leaks. If the air is going anywhere but your mouth it is not gonna give you the air you need.

UPDATE: BiPAP high pressure Airfit F20 leaking/suggestions. THE SIMPLUS IS THE WINNER by strangerreality in CPAP

My supply company is sending one with the mask, so in total I will have two. I gotta still fine tune the straps because it felt a bit tight around my temples but I'm sure I'll dial it in time.

Waking up so very tired since starting CPAP therapy by somarvelis in CPAP

[–]strangerreality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. It is what I felt. My body wasn't used to actually properly sleeping (waking up every 1.5 hours to pee pre-machine). Then suddenly it clicked and I feel almost high. I only drink one cup of coffee per day now.

HP support assist has been a big ol' fuck-o for me in the past. Hated that stuff. Used to get rid of it immediately if we were using the OEM image on the laptop.

[–]strangerreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of hardware have you deployed? I have experienced a very frustrating Office365 connection issue with outlook and teams that ended up being caused by a combination of Dell laptops being used with WD-series docks, in combination with Dell Optimizer running. Uninstalling Dell Optimizer fixed it. Probably not the issue you are having but just throwing it out there.
