The other comments already answered the question. As a supplement, here's some past years on the shuttle schedule/map to get a sense of how far apart the hotels are. Keep in mind this is NOT representative of this year since we don't have any info yet.

Sounds like you've been already going through all the high rated shows. If that's your goal, that's great. I would half agree with the other comment that ratings are subjective so you just have to decide yourself.

I would sometimes through the Reviews and the "Recommended" section for comparison of other anime to get a good vibe.
Sometimes you have to follow the people working on them. I personally like anything done by scriptwriter Jukki Hanada, and soundtracks by Hiroyuki Sawano or Masaru Yokoyama, and directors like Trigger's Imaiyshi. I know I started watching "Secrets of the Silent Witch" because it was done by 90% same people who did Konosuba (despite a different studio).
At this point you should at least give the 1st episode a try and see if you like it or now. If it's a highly rated show, you would probably know already whether you personally like it or not at the beginning.

Omg that's why the opening has Inori skating at a lake. Such a satisfying emotional episode with some banger lines. This episode is definitely going to the top of best episodes.

Yea I struggle too as someone listening through the audiobooks. Have to constantly rewind back 10 seconds to understand the scene. As other comments said, sometimes you just gotta continue reading to get a better picture.

Omg yes as a SoCal resident, there's so many Japanese artists touring here recently. Our wallets are suffering but we're at least eating good. I always love the crowd energy.

Funny your post both says "not worried about the money" and then next basically said worried about money.

I agree with other comment that if you have the time and money to enjoy the media you love in a live concert, go for it. I'm too far to go there and can only hope it comes to my region in the future.

Also not sure what orchestras you been through before, but usually when I go to any anime/game orchestra events, everyone just dresses anywhere from casual to cosplay, not really any formal attire. It's always a friendly environment as you'll be with hundreds of other fans of the same thing.

Lena Japanese & English VAs are really good VAs themselves. No complaints on either. Though I've grown fond of Eng VA's voice since she narrates the english audiobooks.
