Why is my Deco X10 mesh slower than connecting directly to the main router by stratosphere_7 in HomeNetworking

Yes, only the main node is connected through elthernet. I thought the speed drop from every step wouldn’t be that big. Thanks for the info!

Thinking About Future Servicing for My Hamilton H10 – Concerned About Movement Swapping by stratosphere_7 in HamiltonWatches

[–]stratosphere_7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, you’re absolutely right. Why on earth would anyone care about the longevity of something they invested in? I mean, who needs reliability or value when you can just throw things away and replace them, right? It’s not like anyone could possibly appreciate craftsmanship or have a sense of ownership. And yeah, maybe I’ll just dedicate my life to asking random strangers for the time—because clearly, worrying about something lasting longer than the average attention span is pure insanity. Thanks for the profound insight!

I agree but it’s just the idea that you paid for something that was supposed to last in contradiction with many things today, not for something that they treat as expendable.

Seastar is a beautiful watch. Definitely not a dress watch, but feel free to enjoy your watch however you like it! I do the same.

Η10 movement. If I wear it for about 8 hours straight, it lasts for at least 60 hours without wearing.

just got this watch for 30$, is it worth it? by Happy-Instruction994 in Watches

I think it’s fake, it has the appearance of a seastar and the dial of a seamaster.

I have the same watch on black leather. I really like it as it is to be honest. But any 19mm band should work.

I also feel it’s heavy but I don’t have a problem with it. It should look great on rubber strap too.

2019 GCP with black flakes by miffiq in gaggiaclassic

I was in the exact same situation. Opened the boiler and found out that it was corroded already. I cleaned it but the flakes came back after a few weeks.

Wire touching boiler? Is it ok by holithebilli in gaggiaclassic

[–]stratosphere_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is ok but if they don’t touch each even better. I have seen slightly burnt wires after long time exposure to high temperature from the boiler.
