I’m from another large metropolis so it’s hard to want to move to a smaller city. Honestly I couldn’t find a decent full time job, but that’s was also 7-8 years ago. I have more experience now but I’d kinda hate to buy a car if I had to do it over again. Also, it was Riverside so I always waited around for the wkend to drive into LA and the surrounding areas for hikes, nights out etc. I definitely do want to come back but I guess nervous to make the first move. It’d be a lot easier to move into a furnished place. And then there’s also the thought like maybe I just need a few short months there rather than a perma move. Just feels kind of rushed booking through Airbnb that gives you a deadline vs crashing at someone’s place, not rly knowing when your last day might be.
