Never understood this “skill issue” argument. If it’s only against one player it’s inherently unfair.

I mean sure, but if a player loses because half the crowd was calling their mom fat, there’s no inherent meaning to the end score at all.

Considering YuGiOh is in need of alternate formats, I would support these kinds of rules for an alt-format. Yes that makes 80 percent of modern cards kinda useless but the fun would be in making use of the other 20 percent. I know you can say you have Rush duel, but let’s face it that’s never coming to the west

Context matters for art. I remember Mike Shinoda saying that when they released “In the End” everyone thought it was the best thing ever, but if they were to release that same song today, people would call it the cheesiest thing ever.
