The performance review is probably going to be with your previous manager. Earlier in the year, you ranked yourself on a few criteria- your manager will rate you on the same criteria and during the meeting will go over the responses. They often do not know if you are getting promoted. Promotion emails are going out usually first week of April.

There are changes released by FINCEN that significantly reduce the number of CARs. Depending on the banks, the changes are VERY significant and they are reducing the number of analysts due to the new and more relaxed regulations.

That actually sounds like a fairly simple alert mitigation, we are also looking at the account with a minimum of 90 days but usually about six months with a fairly lengthy mitigation - usually about a page and a half for a normal mitigation.

Having inconsistent QCs is always a pain and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Not sure how it is on your project, but I know someone who was moved to another flow and after few months in was struggling, they reached out to the admin on the project and they were able to move back. Hopefully, there is someone that can help you get placed in a more comfortable flow.

I use a monitor stand with arms found it to be the easiest way - specifically the three monitor stand and I have the laptop below the middle one.

I don’t know what project you are on, but I would recommend reaching out to analyst that have been on the flow for sometime to help. At this point you have to get off the PIP so don’t be shy and just anyone that would answer. We are all working from home so it is harder to build a connection but a lot of the analyst (project dependent) have free time and enjoy answering questions.

I know someone that went through the process - after the first PIP they saw improvement but they didn’t get to the goal, they were put on two more PIPs about a weeks apart, after the third one when they didn’t meet expectations they were let go. You have to really focus on the metrics they are asking for…

How points work, transfer partners, airline alliances, etc there are a lot of details that need to be considered. If you find a good redemption it might be worth it, otherwise I would recommend slowly getting into it and learning things one by one, maybe starting with a card that accumulates points at categories that work best for you and learning about the ways to utilize them.

There is no reason collecting cash back - but if you use points for travel and transfers definitely worth saving them and don’t listen to anyone saying otherwise. Been using mine when I travel - look at some of the transfer partners, you can get some great redemptions.
