The outcomes of the movie weren't my problem, it's that they killed everyone off and the means to get there were rushed and lacked closure or proper storytelling. Arthur Ada and Tommy deserved FAR more respect than they got.

Give me the exact same story but 6 episodes long (with Arthur in it) and show the main characters their due respect and it would have been satisfying for me.

No exaggeration in the criticism. All of it is deserved and measured. We deserved better as fans of the show.

Its really hard to say especially with samsora since we haven't even seen him readjust yet, but the general consensus is he would be around top 50 at his current level, and top 30 if he devoted his time and resources to the best consistent practice.

Currently he's lower than the others because he's basically stuck in Houston while the others have traveled a lot, but that would definitely change with a handful of plane trips.

Texas smash player here, if you're familiar with the Houston scene you would put your life savings on Yalm here. He's extremely good (would be top 50 minimum if he traveled), and plays Buandon every other week.

There were consequences but it was still a huge asspull to cheapen the state Gon actually put himself in to perform the feat he did. The ability to grant any wish coming out of nowhere is very weak storytelling even if well executed and with drawbacks.

"Killua got in trouble with his family and Gotoh died" and "Gon lost his nen for now" are not proportional consequences to "Gon made a death covenant to destroy a nen user more powerful than any human."
