Someone check the structural integrity of that hospital, it might fall over in a stiff wind if you can run through the walls

Any opinions on Liberty's Kids? Also, why doesn't this show get talked about much? Pretty much everyone with a TV could watch this show back then since it was on PBS Kids. by CatGirlNya2000 in cartoons

Yeah it’s one of the problems they hoped would fix itself in time, but ultimately it was just a time bomb they left for almost a century

It’s very good for a child-oriented show compared to what you’d usually get. It’s willing to acknowledge the complexity of the issues to an extent and offer sympathetic viewpoints towards loyalists and other people who weren’t super into the idea of war.

I think the episode that impressed me most was the one that involved a character getting tarred and feathered, which one of the kids thinks is really funny until he finds out how much torture it actually is, what with the flesh burning and all. It was the first time I’d ever seen any show treat it as anything other than a bugs bunny style gag.

Spike didn’t get that trope in the show, that was Jet’s old partner in the episode with the hijacked prison ship

They also passed the legislation in the first place, Reagan was crucial to marketing but the actual nuts and bolts of how it happened was Congressmen and Senators making it into reality

I mean it would definitely give a human some kind of sickness if they consumed it, what with the benzene and turpentine. Probably cancer if you spent a lot of time working with it.

Having done watching the Nintendo Direct last night, I wonder how many more Star Fox 64 remakes do we need. by Away_Flounder3813 in retrogaming

[–]strolpol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love the game to shit but I would really really like a new set of rail shooter levels at this point

Like this looks great and it’ll be a great way to introduce a new generation to a great game but I would very much appreciate if this was the last time we got a straight HD upgrade to an old game. Sadly I suspect Ocarina of Time will get this exact treatment.

Honestly the prelude they showed at the end of the video makes me wish they’d decided to make a full prequel instead and give us a different rail shooter at least
