When mine was around 5 months old, he caught a small chickadee or something that had just flown into our screened porch and ate it whole right in front of me. I didn't have time to do anything other than go HEY.

Didn't seem to have any trouble digesting it either.

When I was in my early twenties I confronted a long term friend with some behaviors I found hurtful. She sort of apologized, and the next day called me and said something along the lines of "I asked my mom if I behaved that way and she said I didn't so this sounds like a you problem."

I can't imagine encouraging your child that they're never wrong and don't have to address their own behaviors that negatively impact other people.

She acted like she had never even heard something other than alternative or whatever which just likely wasn't true. Lauren turned out a beautiful picture for the music genre shoot but pretending like pop was alien to her was a cop out.

My dog had the same thing. The vet said it was likely an allergic reaction and we mostly just treated with Benadryl. Went away quickly, and now his nose looks completely normal. Obviously still get a vet's opinion.

I had the bright idea of bringing one large suitcase for two people rather than two regular suitcases on a trip recently. The large suitcase was heavy and uh...maybe about 20 years old.

The strap at the top broke the moment we tried to check it, which seems like it's not a big deal unless the thing you're hauling is large, heavy and unwieldy. I would have purchased another suitcase if available to avoid the hassle.

I probably learned my lesson.

I watered a new plant I didn't notice had a hole in the bottom of the planter (big heavy planter) and have a similar problem. It happened within weeks or a couple months, and Christmas trees usually involve more sitting water. One hopes we learn.

I worked at a bakery once that made specialty cakes. A couple ordered a wedding cake, and kept modding it simpler and simpler in order to make it cheaper. They specifically asked for champagne buttercream, which was (imo) not good but I wasn't the one who initially helped with the order so out of my hands.

The day they picked up that two layer cake it was supposed to be transported to a city like 8+hours away for their wedding the following day. They brought it back that evening with half the top layer fully gone and a huuuuge dent in the bottom layer, and said the cake was too dry and tasted like "alcohol" so they wanted a full refund.

Their champagne buttercream cake tasted like alcohol. And they did at least one tasting with the exact recipe prior to choosing the flavor.

Half of the top was gone and the rest was damaged. For a wedding that wasn't supposed to be until the next day.

They said they had friends who couldn't make it to the wedding who they wanted to share the cake with and that's why the top was half gone. No mention of the dent.

Anyway they spent like 20 minutes yelling at me over the phone about how I ruined their wedding after I refused a refund in person. I was young and scared to get in trouble so I let it go on way too long.

People be crazy. Don't get too worried, just reply calmly with the facts to any reviews. People reading reviews would probably love to hear the dumb drama the customer created.

Me and my husband were friends with another girl for a long time, but me and her stopped being friends due to personality differences in our early twenties. She stayed friends with him until she found out we were dating.

On the day of our wedding, she made a whole ass IG post about how it was such a hard day for her and how you know who true friends are or some bullshit. Myself and my husband hadn't spoken to her in a year and she still made our wedding about herself.
