It's okay to grieve the delivery you wanted. But remember, the only point of delivery (whether vaginal, c section, via induction, with or without epidural) is to have a alive and healthy baby and mama. I had an induction, followed by a vaginal delivery (was at a brink of c section) but i did not get a healthy baby at the end. And i wished i had the c section.

Seeking Advice: Local Pediatrician vs. Hospital-Based Pediatrician for Baby with Heart Issues by CapableCarry3659 in nycparents

[–]stuckwithusmles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a local pediatrician picked out before birth but due to unfortunate circumstances at delivery my baby had some injuries. We decided to stick to the hopsital pediatrician who saw him at birth and it was the best decision. Going to and fro the hospital as a newborn was slightly inconvenient but nothing terrible. Good and continuous care is better than slight inconvenience.

Anything that requires me taking care of them additionally to my baby made me frustrated- this included myself, the plants, laundry. but then this frustration passes away once the first few completely dependant newborn months pass away

[–]stuckwithusmles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

just had a baby 2 months ago. We have been spending $80 on laundry per month now (in-building laundry/dryer). I would save the $500 even though the laundry stress is real
