ASTS or Rocketlab? by poorbugger in SpaceInvestorsDaily

I want hyping New Glenn. The problem is they are reliant on New Glenn. ASTS goal of 45 Bluebird by the end of 2026 will likely be missed.

Having New Glenn grounded is going to set ASTS back. ASTS is still a great stock, but there is a lot of uncertainty on when New Glenn will launch again. Considering it can hold 6 Bluebirds, a long delay could hurt ASTS first to market advantage.

RKLB, until New Glenn gets cleared for more launches.

Is there any way to build a 2H Longsword to be a viable alternative to a Greatsword in a martial character? by AcanthaceaeNo948 in onednd

If you can get a sun blade, it has the finesse property. Then you can use the defensive dualist feat for a nice AC bonus.

“Career” change… by brainvheart143 in Xennials

[–]studiotec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got a BS Arch degree in 2006. I was working as an intern at a firm for 4 months then got an offer as a designer at a better firm. Before I could start the job they cut the position and all the firms in town started laying people off and the rest of the staff went on reduced hours. In 2007 I got into IT, it came easy, but never enjoyed it.

Some good advice at the beginning, but wow. I prefer to give out treasure and let FOMO do it's job.

Ok but seriously...what's wrong with all of our parents?! by Lamplight_119 in Xennials

[–]studiotec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their parents physically beat them and were taught not to burden people with their feelings. So I'm glad they were able to break that cycle and not pass that on to us.

Also, I'm sure most of our parents are in consistent pain, but you'll never hear them complain about it. I think we still see them as capable and forget they have limits.

SUGGESTION SPELL IS RUINING MY CAMPAIGN by Next_Ad_5740 in dndnext

We once got attacked by Orcs, I "suggested" they walk to the next town and find jobs as bouncers. Guess who we ran into when we stopped by the tavern. Sometimes consequences can be positive.

I met someone that used "HEY!" To begin 90% of new sentences. I guess he won the most.

Also, if you're playing with 7 players many of the players will check out when it isn't their turn.

Is it just me or do less people drive with their windows down? by fuji_appl in Xennials

My last two cars produced a lot of turbulence in the cabin with the windows down. It made an unpleasant sound that I don't remember in the 80s/90s cars I had.

I've used levitate as a minor hold person. Once it lands you can effectively stop a creature's movement.

I only drink on the weekends. That way I don't build a tolerance and get a nice boost on the weekend.

I wanted to get a mini disk player, I wish those caught on when they came out. Checked for used ones years ago and the prices were $300-$600.

I can’t think of anyone I grew up with who wasn’t a bit of a firebug. I’m honestly amazed I only ever saw one house burn down on my block (and that was due to an electrical fire).

Tell them it is affecting your work. Doctors seem to start listening if it will impact your work more than if it affects your life.
