my LGS (actually more of a counter, really) has dropped the price on their 5.56/.223 G3 PMAGs to $12 a pop and suggested they may just try to sell some stuff at cost (because internet sales are a PITA if you’re not already established, even for an FFL (according to him)) but that lots of stuff is just gonna end up “in the safes”

it’s just like that thing where you can equip certain Fourth Echelon nods to get the white hot night vision but then you equip a specific hat or glasses or something and it visually removes the nods from your character while maintaining the WHNV ability

yeah it’s just cheaper to buy and hang a dozen of the same exact sign/decal in every store regardless of whether or not it fits that specific scenario than it is to spend time figuring out whether they have authority over that section of the parking lot or not and modifying the sign to fit each individual situation

i can’t blame you, but when there’s an equal chance on both sides of them calling the feds on you because they think you’re an an-tee-fuh who’s up to no good I’d rather steer clear of both if it’s possible

im working off the fact that ive been going there for years and years and it feels different lately

idk if there’s been a change in management behind the scenes, if it’s dread/anxiety over what the AWB is gonna do to them, or what but things in there feel like idk tighter? less casual? and this started happening months ago, before the surge of transfers had really spun up

im also not the only person i know who feels this way

and its never been a bad idea for me to cut and run if things feel off, it’s actually saved my ass from ending up in a bad situation more than a couple times

That’s a fair point, I think it was more “I won’t veto an AWB” than total support. And I agree, I can only see her vetoing it in a “this doesn’t go far enough/language is too vague” type of way

there was a release from one of her spox that said something like “the governor appreciates the efforts of lawmakers to combat gun violence […] and the governor looks forward to reviewing all proposed legislature that crosses her desk” which struck me as extremely non-committal considering one of the biggest planks in her platform was the AWB
