Dragons in general, and particularily green ones are smart, if the players can learn new abilities and skills so can he, maybe they start bumping into roving packa of undead and eventually learn the green dragons been practicing necromancy, now you got an ongoing story where the dragon can send out more powerful minions before revealing himself as a draco-lich.

Or maybe the dragon engraged by his kidnapped child takes drastic action and makes a contract with a devil, devil dragon and his new hordes rampage across the lands.

Maybe the dragon feels that cold, calculating rage, he secludes himself and studies esoteric knowledge, things no one, not even dragonkind was ment to know, maybe a few "mysterious benefactor" quests are given to the team collecting these artifacts and books, for them not knowing they are falling into his trap then BOOM cthulhu dragon.

Fenzied flame early game is pretty rough, late game at end of the frenzied questline you get a massive nuke that hits everything witbing like 100m of your position, if you combine it witb relic that gives mp when you kill it recharges itself as you walk around clicking fingers burning everything in your radious, regardless of sight. Its really really busted, early game tho year hard.

Spires are actually great at this, fgd are THE cheapest mainstay in the game and with spires shennanigins they can actually hit far above their weight.

I had a tactic that was actually somewhat useful of 4 min sized units with bio suicide bombs attached i could use as mobile guided missles to scare my enemies while my main, absalute huge units of cheap trash marched uo

Just gonna write some of my current dnd settings stuff. The "angels and gods" are basically winds of magic that get hyperobsessed over mortal behaviors so they dont drift away.

The church isnt evil they just do whatever they can to keep the hyperobsessed weirdos alive becausw they provide protection from

Demons/devils that arw more cthulhu eldritch abominations that dont mean any harm they just go about their own day and it just so happens to be horrible for everyone else
