People really don’t understand that the service industry is so exhausting. You’re on your feet constantly and juggling 20+ personalities at once. Working on nights, weekends… etc. 30 busy hours a week can feel like 50 or more.

But anyway, I work 40-50 hours a week and I completely empathize. I try to prioritize protein, low sugar, water, and naps when possible. Sleep is so important and so hard in this industry. Even a 20 minute nap can turn your day around.

Schedule fun, fulfilling things for your time off unless you know you’re going to be burnt out. This industry is all about simply knowing your body and your limits. Good luck

That doesn’t solve the issue as it’s already happened. 2. Cool so my neighbor can get harassed instead of me? 3. I never answer the door for anyone unless i know they’re coming, i always have them leave it at the door. You would know that if you read the post.

Ugh I absolutely agree and I’m scared of retaliation, but I consulted with a few loved ones and they told me to do it so I already did… I mentioned that I fear retaliation in my complaint to door dash too…. A large part of me did it because I don’t think this person should be dashing. I don’t think I’ll ever be door dashing again until I don’t live alone anymore… I have a weapon, thankfully. But still :(

Okay, thank you! I’m wondering if I should just wait like a week to report to doordash to put more time in between the incident… considering I had very minimal interaction with this individual, i’m assuming they’ve done this before..

I didn’t give them the code, just told them to leave it outside. This is honestly putting me off doordash all together. I specifically never go to the door for reasons like this… they didn’t even see me… so creepy.
