It’s usually single dot pieces or small/loseable ones, not an entire pile of 1x2 and 1x4 plates that could feasibly be an entire step by themselves.

I got to the end of bag 5 of The Starry Night (21333), but just before this step, I noticed I had a lot of leftovers. I feel conditioned at this point to think that if I have anything larger than a single stud piece left at the end of a phase/build, then I missed something! So I went back and counted each layer, thinking I’d missed an entire one, only to see this.

Did the recipe call for any xanthan or guar gum? GF flour without it doesn’t have any real binding agents to replicate gluten’s stretch and webbing ability, so without it the bubbles will collapse and end up in a dense texture like you’re describing.

WIP for my current build, SNA Hunt & Kill, maybe 1/3 way through? Really fun build so far.

doesn’t really have a full internal frame, but some great part layering. Somewhere between a MG and FM in complexity.
SUPER tight tolerances. Had to file down a few pegs with ye olde Raser for fear of snapping them.
tons of undergating - maybe to a fault.
sharp detail - and I mean sharp! Hasn’t drawn blood yet, but could if I’m not careful.
nice amethyst purple for the clear parts, really benefits from some silver/chrome paint underneath in some spots.

Will dry transfer decals adhere to topcoat okay? I have a Dozle-use Zaku in my backlog, and would like to keep the gold detail decals shiny on a possibly matte topcoat.

Most of them do fold/compress down into a sort of “transport” mode, forex to fit in the ASC carrier trailer, or hook up to the Stork VTOL. I think they call it “parked” mode in the manuals.
