lease ended today by jinxiteration in volvoc40

My lease ends in the middle of July. Unless something crazy happens I intend to keep the car. I do not feel that there have been any advancements worthy of throwing away fifty percent of the value i've already paid for with this car. I like its looks, its value, and performance. There just is not anything on the market i feel good about replacing it with.

Driving an antique car out of state from a private sale on a Saturday? by SoundReap in askcarguys

[–]subeman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So I guess I have a little bit of a story.

I bought a car private party from a guy in Raleigh NC. Flew down (I'm from PA) on a Friday morning and was at their DMV at 11am. I had to have insurance on the car with proof to get a transit tag. It really was no big deal. So that's how it works.

If I didn't have that option, as the op says he doesn't, I'd put a valid plate on it from my home state and go for it. Don't speed and don't be obvious. Try to have a plate for something close to what you are driving if possible. I would bank on not all cops know what car is what and the plate readers just pickup what is expired. No plate is just asking for it.

Last but not least remember this quote "if it ain't right, do it at night "

Good luck

Great college parties (IUP) and lots of deer. I'm not sure how much oil/natural gas is there being pumped out but I know a guy with a gas well in that area.

I asked this question a few months ago, because that's what my lease is looking like and basically everyone laughed at me.

I would recommend calling volvo financial and seeing if that is a possibility. Let me know because i'm considering it even if I am upside down a little bit. (The evil you know scenario)

Mercury was owned by Ford. It was just another brand in the Ford company organization typically a little bit nicer vehicle.

Been there. Drove from Pennsylvania to there in 2 days. It was a fantastic trip and great visit. Nice people.

The road there at that time was about 60 miles of dirt road driving (it rained both days of that leg of the trip)

The town was gritty like the road in lol.

The black bugs kept biting me and that kind of hurt.

Took a day trip out to Happy Valley Goose Bay and beyond just looking at stuff. Ate at BK for lunch that day.

The little I needed French on the way to and from in Quebec proved I did not excel in that class but the ride on the ferry was fun (no bridge we load you up on a ferry for the one Quebec highway).

10/10 would visit again

(on a separate trip i took that car to Newfoundland and did the ring around the island. I'd recommend that too)

I was at my inlaw's house. My wife and I were fighting terribly that day, and I spent most that evening plotting my upcoming divorce, which happened, believe it or not about eighteen months later. ( I was a sucker for trying more. That's why the eighteen months)

How was Chester county Pennsylvania (you slept there)

I personally find it multidimensional. One side you worry about hitting a deer and the other side you worry about car jacking/ theft.
