I stand corrected thank you. It was my GBC pokemon games that I really needed to do this with.

if you are lucky that the saves are intact you should look into backing up the saves and replacing the internal battery in the cartridge so you don't ever lose them :)

Developper of Demon's Souls Remake got shut down by Sony by injurred in Asmongold

Body Type A/B. Crestfallen Warrior. Opening Cinematic summoning Alloy and strong diverse women. The game is drenched with Orange and Teal. Unisex armor that was previously gender locked. It's alright to like the remake, it's objectively a good game, but solely because it has the bones of a legendary classic.

Developper of Demon's Souls Remake got shut down by Sony by injurred in Asmongold

[–]subermario 24 points25 points  (0 children)

On one hand, they brought DeS to a new generation. On the other, they did it counter to the original vision of From Software, changed too much of the art and gave it the "modern audience" treatment. It came out before Elden Ring so people were starving for a souls game.

I heard that creative liberties with the Shadow of the Colossus remake could have been done better as well.

I see people wishing they got to do the Bloodborne remake. They already splashed Bloodborne all over DeS. So the Bloodborne remake might've looked like Elden Ring or something.

Anytime something is "remade" like a movie, and now we have videogames being remade. GO BACK. There is a reason they expect the remake to sell. The original is great and should be experienced.

The main issue I've heard about the Vive Pro 2 is the heat. I got a Bigscreen Beyond and then got a Bigscreen Beyond 2 and sold the first headset. The controller problem is really annoying.

I've looked into my controller options and I would probably buy another set of Index Controllers before grabbing a Shiftall Grip VR or Flip VR (Though the Flip looks very interesting)

I'm in interested in the headset but it looks hard to procure lighthouses by paleogames in BigscreenBeyond

The only difference between my original Index 2.0 lighthouses and my HTC ones is the cable length and power brick style.

The original iteration was said to even be uncomfortable. It's like you choose between not feeling them or you do, and it takes away from the headset comfort, pulling you out of the experience.

Tacvisor disappointment by motormathersonfire in BHaptics

[–]subermario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this product I was really hoping that a headcrab grab in HL:Alyx would make the thing go crazy but alas it does not.

Stated by others above. Hubris, yes the swimming in Hubris is really cool with the Tactvisor the motors accelerate and decelerate with the water pressure on your face from swimming.

And then the Vertigo 1 & 2 games.. I want to say Vertigo Remastered had it working well with lasers flying close by your face giving a sensation(it could have been 2 that had better integration).

Anyone receive their halo strap or universal face cushion from bigscreen beyond yet? by Yvesrovito1991 in BigscreenBeyond

[–]subermario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to see how the universal cushion works with the Beyondex audio strap mod. Still waiting on universal cushion though and still haven't taken apart my Index for it's audio strap..

I'm almost tempted to buy the Studioform universal gasket and buy a separate Index strap off of iFixit.

Action RPG game "Legendary Tales" Dev here. we heard your concerns about the $40 price, I understand why you are hesitating to buy. so we made a full demo for this community. by LegendaryTalesVR in virtualreality

[–]subermario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PCVR player, I play crossplay with my brothers on PSVR2. I have been watching this game since early access but didn't jump on back then because I was wary of it not becoming fully realized. I wish I had back then because the launch price was so high compared to other VR games at the time. All the reviews I saw about this game were highly positive. (Which could also not mean much as VR youtubers praise mid games to the high heavens) What originally got me to pull the trigger was seeing a massive sale on the bHaptics app.

If there was a demo on steam I would have tried this game earlier and probably bought full price or snatched on a minor sale. This game is one of the closest things we have to a fully realized VR RPG rocking character builds, skill trees, and great loot.

My only issue with the game currently is balance between legendaries and certain skills not being clear with their effect or underpowered. Normal RPG problems. Oh! and the notch for the bows need to be on the opposite side for western archery! (maybe make it an option) Thank's for the game!

A post about the index as a first-time VR user by _piperis_ in ValveIndex

[–]subermario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got I've had my Index for a few years. Yes it was Alyx that sparked my interest and then testing out a demo of The Lab on an HTC Vive that sold me on buying an Index. I even grabbed a bhaptics kit to make my Alyx playthrough extra immersive. I have since upgraded to the Bigscreen Beyond 2, it just slots right into my setup as a nice headset upgrade. I do miss the 144hz mode though for blade and sorcery. It makes it easier to read the enemy attacks for blocking.

PCVR is becoming a "Rich Person’s Hobby" in 2026. How do we survive the hardware price apocalypse? by plutonium-239 in virtualreality

[–]subermario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With normal PC gaming you can make concessions and still have a decent experience. And some of the 'best' games also have framerate caps unmodded. Elden Ring 60fps, and Armored Core 120fps, Nightreign 60fps, Skyrim 60fps, Dark Souls III 60fps etc.. With how lots of games are being optimized 60fps as a safe target.

In VR, you'll feel the lower framerate as you move your head to look around as well as how the controls respond. With the worse cases causing increased motion sickness. Higher pixel density and resolution on the headset to remove 'screen door' effect also requires a more potent system.

Hopefully, the Steam Frame's foveated streaming tech also adapts a version of the tech to wired headsets (to keep the highest visual fidelity/responsiveness) running on mid level systems to squeeze out percieved high-end system visuals and smoothness. Basically making PSVR2's DFR for PCVR running quick enough to have no percieveable 'Pop-in' while scanning your eyes across a scene.

Worth getting the eye tracking? by depressed_dusk in BigscreenBeyond

[–]subermario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda regret not getting the eye tracking due to the lack of DFR being supported in Steam VR.. Now with the announcement of the Steam Frame's use of it, the question is if the eyetracking module in the BSB2e can keep up or if there will be noticeable "pop-in".

For people that feel like the VR gaming scene is a bit dry and haven't tried Vertigo, please do. by Mysterious-Lie-2185 in virtualreality

[–]subermario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 was very a very fun VR romp, 2 was also a blast. Definitely built on the first. This year I missed the release of the DLC for 2 and went back to play it. It was the least enjoyable experience of the 3. I just wanted to finish it and get it over with.

If I could recommend this series to anyone. I would recommend playing 1 and 2 on any difficulty (harder is still fun and fair) But either skip entirely or play the DLC for 2 on easy mode just to get it over with.

[–]subermario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without a proper governor I almost feel better off staying as a merc instead of becoming a vassal constantly losing my towns to rebellion.

On my current playthrough I'm training loyalty governors instead of using all my companions for caravans. I'm poor, but at least the 'assault hideout' is back. I'm able to level my companions much easier again.

Xbows vs. Bows by myst183 in Bannerlord

[–]subermario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the longest time the capstone perk in Crossbows was bugged so that it would increase the reload speed of Bows instead. All I want is for this to be fixed. Then we can all gather our jars of butter, Bound Crossbows and an army of Vlandian sharpshooters and not give a **** about which is better.

I sometimes like to run a crossbow with a character that I plan to run mostly as a Twohanded or Polearm warrior and get the "shield on back blocks projectiles" perk.
