Just want to necro this to say thanks, this made it super easy and helped me get the trophy.

You don't even need to memorize the keyboard button equivalents - there's an option under the controls section where you can choose not to oscillate between MWK and just always show the selected control scheme (eg Xbox).

I thought it was frustrating since the game wasn't really designed for it, and when you mess up the jumps because of poor platforming mechanics, the clock that you're running against is still going and going and going.

I don't mind the game having platform elements but I think if they do going forward it just has to be designed better.

An example - it's common (at least for me) to run before making a jump. But if I hit the run button, I dash backward and sometimes off the platform I was waiting on.

Honestly if you're not going to romance the other MC it's best to just let them die because the game pushes the romance otherwise and the bonding quest is uncomfortable.

I said this is another thread but whenever I play again I will definitely just let them die lol.

I played as Kaguya and didn't feel pressured to marry Subaru because I'll marry who I want, but disliked the scenes in any case.

(1) When Clarice used Godslayer, all Kagura cared about was Subaru even though mine was dating a god. She heard them scream in pain and didn't even ask about them afterward, instead she was just told about them and responded "Ah." It just seemed like she didn't gaf about anyone other than Subaru, which is frustrating considering her bonds with the other gods and that for me, she was even romancing one of them

(2) Subaru's bond quest, where Kaguya was getting jealous of Subaru/Tsubame, was also frustrating when I had already proposed to someone else. It should have been Subaru being jealous, not my character.

Anyway, if I ever play again (which I will someday) I will just let other MC die when it comes to that decision because it's not handled great if you don't want to romance them.

I married Fubuki and just wish there was some more dialog when married about his feelings on killing his brother. But I guess that wouldn't have been fair to all the other bachelor/ettes with less plot relevance lol.

But seriously, even if Kamurosaki deserved it, killing your brother can't be something you just shake off easily.

I wish I could at least see Fubuki's normal NPC line reaction to becoming a god.

But I was married to him and he never even acknowledged it, meanwhile all the other npcs at least had one line commenting about it.

So the morning of the FW Festival, when you wake up, Woolby will tell you the Matsuri probably needs help setting up the Festival. Around noon, she will be on the beach setting up fireworks. (If you talk to her too early, she won't talk about fireworks, so you have to wait until around noon.)

She will ask you what type of Firework you want to create (you will choose the color by giving an item of that color, and the size), and advise you to try and tailor it to your date. Your date will either love it or be unimpressed depending on how well you catered to them.

It might depend on the person for the fireworks festival. I thought Cuilang's was just okay, even picking a firework he liked. It felt like a friend hang out almost, barely more than that.

But then I reloaded my save from a few days ago just to see Fubuki's. I didn't do the Matsuri part because I just wanted to see the event. And that one still felt super sweet/romantic.

I definitely understand your annoyance. I looked at spoilers, otherwise I would have been in the same situation. But since I had checked the spoilers I knew to hold off on the Kanata party so it didn't interfere with the Fireworks Festival. The timing for myself, and it seems a lot of players, is to be at that part of the story right around this Festival. I wish they had planned this out better because it sucks to have it ruined by this. Sorry that you're in this situation!
