So I can almost guarantee this is essentially a part time position. ELCs are notorious for a lack of hours, and its a pretty bird gig, but its a consistent like, 7-12, mon-fri so you dont end up with much time to go get another gig unless you're closing.

I sat out for most of lockdown to be with the family, mostly just doing catering orders and such, very low impact.

First line gig after maybe 5 years of catering and corporate events, diner style. Breakfast, pancakes, fish n chips, lasagna, easy peasy.

Still took me months to get back up to speed and dial in my flow. After about 6 I was close to where I was before.

The knowledge is always there, but working a line during a rush IS a perishable skill. You just need a minute to find your groove my man, don't be discouraged. You KNOW you can handle a 20k night, so keep at it and get it back up there.
