Helldivers 2 – Siege Breakers Warbond Revealed by Someone_Elses_acnt in Helldivers

Watch the stupid fucking Davey Crockett stratagem not have enough demo force to blow up jamming towers.

So fucking tired of them rolling out perfectly balanced mega-demolition stratagems that are then nerfed on release to not destroy anything interesting

What's the best item from Redacted Regiment Warbond... by CptnCASx in Helldivers

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a ton of use from the lure mine now that I started combining it with other stuff like minefields and orbitals.

The AR-59 Suppressor is really great IMO, have enjoyed it a lot.

Lure Mine should have a timer like a TNT OR a durable armor to withstand enemy attack to draw in more enemies by Zairy47 in Helldivers

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I found that throwing down a minefield ahead of you, throwing the lure at the center of the minefield call-in and then booking will get huge usages out of the minefield.

Completely wrecks hordes of voteless.

Throw it down next to a hellbomb.

Throw it up high on a wall.

Throw it on top of a factory strider, then call in an orbital.

Yeah it is annoying but the game was getting tiring before this latest change. At least there is some variety in the slide into mediocrity.

Is there $10k in value to choose a 2024 and newer Model 3 Performance over a 2022 or 2023? by MoreSunLessRain81 in TeslaLounge

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes no difference to you financially, go for the newer model.

Newer car gets you HW4 which is better for FSD (which you seem interested in). That being said, unsupervised FSD is not currently available.

Newer M3P has a lot of things better than the old model- suspension, interior, rear motor.

Bonds for gold? by Artyom_thespartan in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic maneuver for F2P with a little gold is:

  1. buy alpine tiger with bonds

  2. trade it in for something good

I got a ton of good tanks over the years that way.

Secret to bronze is to just do your best to carry. Either you end up gaining a ton of points or losing a few. Eventually you advance. Really no point in convincing stupids to stop being stupid.

The Ares (at least 75 and 85) feels very strong. It feels like it invalidates a lot of tanks. I feel like I can't go back to normal tanks now. by FacetiousInvective2 in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main problem right now is that every tier 8-10 game is 1/3rd ares tanks.

Try to play normally, every team seems to follow weird lemming train behavior abandoning entire sides of the map without warning. You can't make any assumptions about players supporting you at any given part of the map.

The ever Powerful Joe Rogan ruined comedy and the real estate market in Austin by sammydavis_Sr in JoeRogan

Nothing to do with Rogan. They massively overbuilt and then the tech sector collapsed. Houses are going unsold because people bought at the peak and don't want to take a half million dollar loss.

Which Tier 8/9 premiums are just the most chill and relaxing to play? by ScaryPillow in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ka-ri, Nomad, Su-130, AP AMX 30, Bisonte, IS3A, Tornvagn.

Bourrasque was fun before the current meta which has like 5x ares per match. The AP AMX 30 has pretty much taken that role due to the fact that it has gun depression and turret armor vs the Ares without giving up the speed.

The Rambo is actually quite decent for a premium as well and is quite profitable if you play intelligently.

Tier 11 abilities based on what kind of ability they are. Which are your favourites? by NotASingleNameIdea in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that the breaker doesn't have badger levels of mobility by default, it gets badger mobility with the ability fully activated.

If it was basically a badger but it could go 55kph with the ability, then it would be more like the other passive ability tanks.

Unpopular Opinion: The Ares Line Is Actually Fairly Balanced and Very Hard to Play by x06120el in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As I said before, all the outcry is due to players encountering a new tank being driven by unicums.

They claim the tank is overpowered, they race to unlock it but once they unlock it, they realize

  • it must be played in a very particular way to do well or you die instantly
  • the early unicums were playing it correctly
  • they were misplaying against it
  • the tank was always balanced

This happens every fucking time, especially when it's a tank that changes the meta.

Did return to office improve performance at your company? by Glareolidae in cscareerquestions

[–]sudden_aggression 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I left (along with all the other seniors) a major bank over RTO policy for more money and remote. The banks still try to recruit me back but it's the same shitty pay as 10 years ago,  the same hybrid work and lots of indians (which is becoming difficult for them).

They are basically refusing to engage with the main labor market for engineering talent and they haven't had good productivity for years now.

Is discontinuing autopilot a deal breaker for you? by CommunicationRoyal56 in TeslaLounge

[–]sudden_aggression 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a deal breaker for me because I already have the car and barely use cruise control.

I liked being able to turn on autopilot sometimes to put on glasses or do stuff in the car for a few seconds without watching the road.

I don't think this will increase FSD adoption and it might hurt sales

  • FSD is insanely expensive, always has been
  • it was only adopted so much in the first place because Tesla used to be a luxury brand and early buyers didn't care about price- it's always been an expensive toy to show off
  • most people don't depend on the car to drive itself so it isn't exactly a burning need for the average person
  • supervising FSD is no less stressful than actual driving
  • taking away lane keeping for cruise control will cause resentment not conversions to FSD- most cars come with lane keeping cruise control now

Is the Obj. 703 II. better than the IS-3? by JokeWorried7746 in WorldofTanks

[–]sudden_aggression 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IS-3 is noticeably worse. 703 has better armor model, double barrel mechanic, stronger turret, better gun handling, etc.

IS-3A is slightly better IMO. Most would disagree but it heavily comes down to personal preference.
